You cut off the part about too much watering. Also i couldn't understand the last 4 words before you cut off. You said too much watering will cause "'something something" what will it cause?

It grows well if its roots are pot-bound, that is crowded in pot. Too much water may drop new buds and thorn will develop in its place.

@@GardenTricks I planted a bunch of seeds and water it 2xs a day. 1 big one is growing (yesterday measured round 19 inches round) there are 3 growing but they are so small. I guessing the big one is taking all the nutrients. Any tips to get the other ones to grow bigger?
@GardenTricks
@GardenTricks 7 күн бұрын
@@NewYorksFinest1 19 inch is a very good size. You are correct, all the energy is being taken up by the bigger one. You may pick up the fruit when the stem at the point where it is attached is turning brown. You may cut one smaller one so that the other smaller fruit can get some energy to grow.

Could you please tell any tips/ guide to prone it now? If we cat the tree stem at the bottom, can the tree survive without leaves?
@GardenTricks

I think, it has not produced flowers/fruits so far. Then, you can prune all the branches above a node (leaf joint) by one third their lengths. New branches will grow on each of them in the growing season.
