TheLespauladdict It's been great so far, put about 2000 miles on it so far, and I'm actually at the race track with it right now for the first time. Not super thrilled with my ET's so far, best of 12.1 at 113 mph. Need to work on my 60 foot tho. Was hoping to be deep in the 11's. But it's great on the street, lots of usable power everywhere, runs cool even with no oil cooler, idles nice. As far as cost, it's hard to say. I think the motor was around $5500 shipped, but the supporting mods are a long list. Expect $8000 to do it right. This was a crate motor so I didn't need to modify the crank case at all

Jody love it! Still Not the fastest thing in the world but the build gave it some character and the satisfaction of rebuilding the motor myself.

When you "delete", that's what you are deleting is the def, dpf and scr. Everything from the turbo back and the def equipment is gone and you install a straight pipe in its place. You have to tune the computer with something like efi live. I would recommend calling Jonathan at Higher Power Performance and he can tell you everything you know and send you the device and awesome tunes.

Between 2100-2200 rpm there is some but at 1800 (cruise at 70 in 6th) it's almost as quiet as stock. If you like to cruise 85 though be prepared to listen to drone

I have an edge cts 2 monitor I like it a lot. And a buddy and I put a Valair dual disc ceramic in it last November the stock one slipped eventually but only under the race tune.

+rsafree1 Nice. what kind of mpgs are you getting and is your clutch petal softer now that your have a new clutch? I hear Valiar is more easy on the left leg compared to southbend

+chrisdsltech typical is 17-19 mixed driving hand calculated. 21 interstate. I pulled 23 one time on flat ground 55 mph. All this is unloaded. And it's just a hair stiffer than stock but not too bad.

had my 14 done at 14000 and glad I did. I had to get Clutch also. South Bend 3250. Awsome truck.

It's straight pipe from turbo back. The 2013+ cummins don't have mufflers. The only way to make them louder is remove the complete exhaust system

+rsafree1 ughhhhhh, I just picked up a 2016, Cummins and was hoping I might get a little more sound. I haven't even checked under the truck. Also I'm in California so even more suck lol.

Yep it voids the power train warranty.

It takes lots of tuning to get them to run with an aftermarket exhaust. I would suggest googling it or searching cummins forum and doing lots of reading

eBay. Made by Clazzio. The real leather $450 ones. They make $300 vinyl ones too. I love them. 6 hours for install but worth it

are these any better then my Laramie seats or just a protection thing?

+Andrew “Ace” Clark not quite as nice as Laramie seats in my opinion but you can replace one at a time of you rip them or they wear out. Such as driver seat

HPP tuning. This was a 60 hp tune

I'm real happy with no muffler, at this point I have no plans of adding one. I'd say give it a try without one.

There is drone at certain rpms, around 22-2300 rpms, but at 70 mph and 1800 rpms you can't even tell it's not stock
