In most cases yes however GAREN e passive which increases damage to nearest target along with outside sources of damage/healing can skew those numbers

@Brodc you're a joke. Garen has been sub 50 wr in diamond plus for damn near the entire season. There was one instance where garen was actually broken with a high play rate, high win rate and high ban rate and it was for like a month 😂 there has been a hand full of garen players I've lost to in the 9 years I've played league. How you guys complain about a juggernaut, which is arguably the worst class of character in the game, is beyond me. Maybe you should learn how to kite and stop being dog like everyone else that complains about garen

@Brodc Not sure if you know this but they balance the game around pro play and high elo, you know, where the actual human players play? Haven't seen a garen perform well and not have to farm all game in damn near a year. There's like 3 decent garen players in high elo and its sanch, triton, and iceberg

Since you copy pasted this from the comment above you, let me just explain it for you. Conqueror is adaptive force based on stacks acquired from multiple seconds of combat. Garen stacks up 1 stack every tick of his E. Garen E early game is horrible. He's taking electrocute because his ult procs it, and he can use it for SHORT TRADE damage. Like it was designed to be. Not saying it's right, but Conquerors literally has 0 value against a pantheon. A good pantheon will never let you trade into him. What good is more damage in an extended fight when the best you can hope for early game is a losing short trade? Think a little bit

I don't get it. It does less damage than conq, even for the lvl 2 fight. It has no movement speed and splitpush utility like phase rush (im not counting ooc like relentless). It does nothing well

Well lets see 1st engage we were both lvl 2 he had stun/W and spear/Q i used my silence/Q perfectly as he stunned me throwing off his Q timing, then ignite electrocute solidified me winning, second engage i used my W perfectly to gain tenacity and mitigate his stun giving me a chance to get behind him as his Q buffered then after ignite and a late ult electrocute I win. Last one I just went ham under turret like a BEAST! But maybe a better pantheon wouldn't have as much trouble

Press the attack not as good all in for long fights but good at medium bursting 50-75% health champions, Press the attack garen build is lv15 I think? I think you can do that before you get smite or flash lol

Just wanted to point out that this is just the meta build on Garen right now, minus the swifties. They might feel good on him, but AS boots are objectively the best early game damage spike you can get on Garen. They should be the first thing you buy every game, you're neutering your early game otherwise. Not many champs can pass the stat check after they are purchased. (no hate, just wanted to share some info on the champ.)

Because he thought with tower shot his passive and ignite he can kill garen but tower shot did 0 dmg he flashed in didn’t proc his passive and died
