the chime at 0:59 doesnt sound so accurate at joo koon and it doesnt even play on the tuas extension

Check pinned comment regarding overground station arrival melodies usage. All station information on melody usage comes from a news article which sourced the information from SMRT as linked in the description box. There may be 2 possibilities of why it does not play at Tuas Extension stations: 1. Not installed yet (speaker equipment have not yet been able to be updated/installed to play arrival melodies) 2. Removed due to noise complaints.

Note: - NSL/EWL overground stations are now using shortened versions. - Tanah Merah seems to no longer have arrival melodies due to noise complaints? (please verify this info!) I will update the collection once I am free to film the new melodies. (just so happened that after i uploaded this video, they began installing it at stations)

I’m pretty sure most of the stations on nsl are using shortened versions, or at least what I’ve heard during my commute (cut off at 1:55 and 2:15 from what I think I heard)

I like all of the station chimes for all lines, but the NSL chimes have to be my favourite as the music is different from the other two local music which are used in our NDP but the tricycle song not as the song is unique. The in-train chimes tho, probably the 'interchange station' chimes is my favourite while the other ones need to get used more

it may have not been installed yet, as listed in the description. it is not confirmed whether it would be installed at all, but installation of the melodies is being progressively added on most of the stations listed.

Overground stations are starting to implement the arrival jingles So far there’s Bukit Gombak and Yishun that current have it
