I have no idea what this Game is, what any of these words mean but this song goes hard

I used to listen to this song while playing a modded EU4. It really fits when fighting against the two colonial empires, Spain and Portugal.

I just don't get how you can create this masterpiece. What a genius.

Idk why this music is only in the damn mobilise / skirmish phase, was so disappointed that they just chance music to something often worse when you make first

When this plays a lot of people are about to be really exhausted soon climbing the hills. And then the skirmisher lines going back and forth finally connect and the whole thing becomes a free for all where the ones who have high ground and/or stamina will prevail. And nobody thinks about the poor saps that are near death pushing those heavy siege engines. They were out of breath by the time they climbed the mountain.

Man, I really wish this were a combat theme and not a maneuver theme. Like others said, this does go really well if you start a battle off with skirmishers because it builds a lot of suspense, but once 1:52 hits all I can think of is melee. I think after that, the really dramatic parts of the song go much better with Dismounted Knights beating the hell out of each other. I remember the first time I heard this song, I was really new to the game and completely botched a battle, I was the Kaiser invading Italy. Fought the Battle at the start of a mountain and just got slaughtered. As all my units were routing the last group of men still intact were a unit of Pavise Crossbowmen and like 30 Dismounted Imperial Knights at the summit of a hill. This song played because everyone broke from combat and like 2:40 rolled around with that last pocket of men firing down the mountain into the Italians, and when the Italians caught up the game glitched and didn't switch to combat music, so I got to hear the last bit of the soundtrack as my Crossbowmen all died fighting.

I remember this song distinctly due to it playing at a major battle in my HRE campaign. Venice had been run down to their last European settlement at zagreb, and I met their largest army in battle in the hills near Zagreb,it was my favorite battle I ever fought.

This played as I was finally at the gates of Rome (playing as the Byzantines). I had the Emperor do the first charge against the pope then my spearmen followed. the fight was bloody but in the end Rome was taken. You don't know how much did this track add up to the suspense and tension. Roma Invicta

Wind cut is a 2 handed bastard sword move from the germans, because they were the masters of the Zweihander (2 handed in german) Sword during the renaisance period. The Landskenecht (the farmers from the lands of germany that became professional bastard sword fighters during the 15th to 16th centuries) are those units that killed mostm ottomans because the 2 handed sword showed complete sjuperiority against the long cavlary saber, it's blows are statick and compact and precise. A wind cut could be executed with allmost any 2 handed weapon you only need to cut from above with your 2 handed wepon begging the action from a descendant cut position and then the cut concludes at allmost the level of the floor itself. That is called Windhaw in german (wind cut). It is often reffered in english too as a HayMaker, cause it makes a vvooom sound or hhhh like wind, when cutting air.

Damn, I remember fighting Egypt near Alexandria as France. After battling Christians, I felt nearly invincible and thought I would make short work of Arabs. As I charged Arabs with my heavy cavalry, weakening the infantry, I realized my heavy cavalry was overstrached and right at this moment 2:16 Arabs counter attacked and both my mounted knights and infantry suffered heavy casualties from horse archers. I won eventually thanks to crossbowmen and artillery and my reserve cavalry, but it was hard battle and very fun one.
