I traveled to the island on Oct. 27th and by then things were slowly returning to normal, except for electricity and cell communications. Rented a car at the airport and traveled to Las Marias to visit my father. I also have family in San Sebastian and Aguadilla. Route 111 in San Sebastian is still closed due to parts of the road being washed away. The mayor just announced it will take three months to fix. They have a plan. I took some drone videos which I will be posting shortly, as time allows. I also visited Lares and recorded some drone footage from the air. When a child I lived in barrio Piletas and Espino in Lares. Some of my best childhood memories come from there. Gracias por compartir Laura.

Did you last through San Sebastián? How was the travel? My family is their, and I want to go. Were you able to rent a car?

Yes, we did drive through San Sebastián. The roads in that area were pretty awful. The 111 between Moca and San Sebastián had some closed bridges so we had to drive up through the neighborhoods. But we were able to rent a car (in Aguadilla) and get around. I am glad we went. Thanks for checking in.
