My opinion is never seal up aircon pipping in event of condensation and leaking. I would suggest to conceal it with a flip open so that in event of condensation or leaking. It is easier to troubleshoot and clean up. If conceal, there is a need to cut open and check. It is very messy and cost to seal it back. I am sure you heard of Tengah aircon issue. All seal up will need to cut out to troubleshoot and very messy. This is just my opinion.😊

What's your thought process of choosing instant heater over storage heater?

Cost of usage was our concern. Generally, instant water heaters only consume electricity when in use, whereas storage water heaters take more time to heat up and consume more electricity to operate.

i agree with your first sentence too haha. we felt we needed more rooms so we didn't knock down that first room. we thought we could either rent it out or use it as a study/guest room.

Mitsubishi starmex sys 4 is GREAT.. I’m using them for our 25 years old BTO.. No issues so far and very cooling within short time turning aircon on
