قطعت يدي مع اني لم أسرق: تذكرت... كان يا مكان من زمن الفعل الاكيد لجريمة من براءة الإحساس ذاك الذي قواني و استقويت...به . فربما عمدني السيد المسيح على نهر الأردن و ربما تأهبت كابل لاختيار موقع قباء، و للحين أدركت أن رؤية الله ليست بالمستحيلة.

أين انت ايها المسيح...؟ نظرت لحلمي الأخير و فوضت أمري لخالقي. و خلقت طيرا من طين و انتظرت نفخة في السماء فتصصبت فزعا من هول الأرض، و سبحت البحر كله في ذات البقعة التي ولدت منها لاقع في التراب مرة أخرى.

ركضت نحو القمر لأمسك بشمسي: و لابد أن أجد طريقا نحو الليل الصاخب لنهار هادئ. فارتعبت و صرت شبحا بريئا بين معسكرات الإنس، و فتحت كتب الكون و لحقت بملاك صار هاربا من السموات التسع ليقع على الأرض فارتفعت كمسيح ذابل منهار من صليبه صابرا كأيوب الخرافي لحين انشقاق القبر على سيد الخلق.

فشلت اخيرا بوضع حرف على نقطة: خسرت و فرحت... و نجحت و حزنت. و كم من مرة اعود فيها لركب امواج بحري و عندما كنت على صخرة تفتت كالرمل الجارف إلى سحابة من شحرورات ضياء الجبل، فحينذاك ركبت ذاتي و تسلقت نفسي وودعت روحي... فياروح عودي و لا تقيميني، أخشى على جسدي أن يموت و انت تبقين حية.

انتقدوني و زيدوا و سأزيدكم...: كم عرفت الحياة و كم تمتعت بعمقها... فلا أدري بعد كيف تنظرون للحياة ،فأنا انظر بطعمها المر في طريقي نحو تحليتها و أما أنت فسبقتم الحلو قبل المر و ترغبون في الحلو و لكن نفوسكم مملوءة حقدا و غلا و مثال ذلك الجنس فحلاوته لا تعني انكم استحلتموه أن إن كان له أثر في غير حقه و حلاله، هكذا الطريق أريده أن يكون مملوءا شوكا و بأشواكم نظرت إلى بعد آخر. من حلاوة لا يمكنكم أن تنافسوني فيها ثقوا بذلك.

The wires remind me of the early days of electricity when homes had wires crisscrossing every room because the homes were built prior to placing the wires in the walls.

The wires are there because private generators is a must. If the government ever changes (never probably) and starts giving normal electricity we can get rid of the wires

Exactly the same thing here in Tunisia. But hey ! never value a country by it's cars, sometimes it depends on the country's laws, in Lebanon for example car import is easy and cars are cheap there so this explains the number of cool cars seen on their roads, for example in my country Tunisia. If you wanna import a normal car (about 1500cc) u have to pay 100% of its price for the customs, and if its something above 2000cc, get ready for 300%+ !!!

This is a very good idea to show status of different places at different times in the world! I cannot see any signs of electricity and gas shortages that I've heard about. Just a city rebuilding after the accident. No riots, no poor people on the streets etc.

I am in Beirut, at the moment. There are power cuts every single day. Also, there are parts of Beirut where you have homeless people begging on the streets. Just walk down Hamra road, for instance, and you will be constantly hassled by beggars - especially if they know you are a tourist. I do like Beirut - that's why I am here - but you cannot make your judgement on the entire city simply based on this car ride in just one small part of the city. And you cannot tell if there are power cuts from someone driving by in a car!

Look, Lebanon is the most fascinating country in terms of wealth distribution.The rich and the poor are very mixed in the streets unlike other countries where you can really differentiate. Literally in the same appartment complex u can have 2 neighbors one thinking about how to buy a pound of steak and one racking in millions of fresh dollars a year.
