@namgyel6647 That is not a good excuse. In Tibetan monastery where all the teachings and studies are fundamentally base on Tibetan language, you ought to speak Tibetan. for example students in catholic school in India must speak English, why??
Quality but not quantity please 🫡🫡🫡 Quality education and need to take example from top Indian 🇮🇳 schools 🏫! Please need to step out from old Tibetan model teaching !!! Keep the tradition and culture alive but need to compete and perform good as other Indian top schools !

It is not possible that India's top school education system is too expensive or only Bourgeois families or industrialists or politicians children can afford or I don't think so much can be spent by the administration. That's why India's own citizens Indians go abroad to study outside India.

Problem in the monastic now a days are not the phone. It is the "language" , majority of the young monks, almost 95% doesn't speak Tibetan. they speak mixture of Napali and Hindi. Sad Sad Sad.

@@jcjc4979 I am justifying it, it is sad reality and unfortunately hardly any Tibetan wants to be monk.

Many such agendas were made, all failed and new ones started being created with new names. Everyone knows that those who make this for culture names and promote it, their children have studied abroad and live there and this saffron propaganda is for the dumb and idiot.Who sees his child's future only in India

Well in that case LTCV has to go in huge renovation and upgrade its facilities standards. Because right now it’s a bhoot bangla. Ruins

I have graduated from this school some years ago but I didn't see ltcv as bhoot Bangla or so. It is in good condition. So, better don't judge book by its cover.

Not only TCV schools but most Tibetan people need to focus on language, the way we talk has changed. It is not that good compared to old. Please save the language.

How refreshing to hear what the Indian traders who have for generations traded with Tibet express their concern for present day Tibetans who are unable to preserve our rich and unique culture passed on to us by our ancestors! Thank you VOT👍🙏

If it's too expensive don't send ur kids simple! We aren't doing a charity here. Tbh the said fee would the be only source to generate revenue to run the schools. And btw folks it's a boarding school not a day schooling so think twice. Furthermore TCV is still a brand known to produce fine Tibetans wid the holistic growth culturally and academically. Wat I fear the most is those kids coming from West rather might spoil our already fragile culture and do more damage than help thyself. From an ordinary ex tcvian, cheers!

Chinese families in the west are also trying hard to keep their identity. Instead of Sunday Chinese Schools, children take 30 min online Chinese classes everyday. It is important to learn the language everyday! The teachers are in China, and the online schools have developed special text books to meet different groups' needs. If such kind of online Tibetan classes hire teachers in India, the cost would be even lower than hiring in China/Tibet (if the Chinese government allows). Why don't the Tibetan communities do this? Tibetan teachers in India do not want to make the money? Or Tibetan families in the west do not want to pay?
@ziikgames7986Күн бұрын
first of all. online class may sound good but it works best for adults since they are willing to learn new skills to go ahead in life. but asking children to do the same won't yeild the same good result. i have seen how students study during covid. only a few may be motivated to do well but most students fail to do so. plus they are teachers who can teach online. but most teachers are not skilled enough to teach online. that takes a different kind of preparation. teachers need training and equipments as well as organisation to do so. if it only was that easy teach online and solve the problem looming over our culture and language. your suggestion might be one of the solution but i can tell u will absolute garantee that going to school is far superior to online classes. after all we are not just expecting to learn a language but culture as well. and there is no better place to learn other than living with your people. i leave the rest to your intelligence.

@@ziikgames7986 The Tibetan community Sunday schools will do the culture teaching part such as art and religion. Online and in person classes can cooperate. If the online school is initiated by the TCV, I believe the resources will be much better and more systematic than those online language tutors.
