Hallo Frank, ich habe in den 80ern meine ersten Fotos dort geschossen. Damals gab es noch einen Brunnen, am Ausgang Richtung Hauptmarkt. Es wäre herrlich, würde dieser im Zuge der Sanierung (?) wieder aufgebaut werden. Wir können gespannt sein :)

Ja, was in NYC zuviel ist, zumindest geht es mir so, daß ich schier überwältigt bin, muss man in Deutschland schon viel suchen.

We were in Barcelona at the beginning of June. Hopefully it's not as hot there as it is here. Otherwise, always stay in the small streets, it's a bit cooler there. I was very much on the streets with the 24-70 Canon 5D or also with an ultra-wide angle 17-40 (for smaller sensors, 17-55 / 10mm wide angel). Otherwise, watch your stuff. There are many thieves on the road. I've had to watch it live twice. Don't take a backpack. It's best to carry a bag in front of you or on your side and always keep your hand on the bag. Late at night it can be scary and dangerous in some neighbourhoods (El Raval). But if you always keep your eyes open, nothing will happen to you. Otherwise, you can get around the city very quickly by metro, I can only suggest it. I specifically didn't visit Gaudi, it was too 80s for me :-D The big bazaar, do you mean the big food market, I preferred to go there to eat ;-) No, honestly, I was there, but I didn't really have anything to photograph. Too many tourists. So I preferred to hang around in the small streets. Thank you very much for your comment.

@@franks-photography_com I’ve never been but always wanted too, funds are scarce due to being unable to work due to various health issues, plus the ridiculous increase in the cost of living, especially fuel prices

I am often surprised when I post photos on Instagram. Photos that I would have rated less strongly often get more likes than better rated works of mine. Many thanks

@@SeanPDurham I was just on your channel. I can return the compliment with the beautiful photos. We both have not only the same preference for street photography but also for the same kind of hats :-) I think it's very nice how you act in front of the camera as well. That's one thing I'm not so comfortable with yet. But let's wait and see, maybe I'll get in front of the camera on KZfaq :-D

@@franks-photography_com I have the same feeling. The other day i posted a shot of a jogger crossing a bridge, for some reason that baffles me, lots of people thought it was a great shot.
