I think he really enjoyed himself - happy for him. And certainly gave all of us a smile.

This video was released on my birthday... Truly amazing Jem. They released this song on vinyl in 1986. The LP name "Something Within" by Alliance. I've bought the Vinyl with the intentions of converting it to digital format for all to enjoy. But until that's done, you can listen to it's current representations here: kzfaq.info/sun/PL99208D1AD9C889D5

Endless. Crouch is kind of an enigma. Most special composer since King David, IMO. An enigma because he was so unorthodox. Never married, he mingled with mundane artists, he was accused of having drugs.... but nevertheless, it seems to me he was a truly believer, a man of the Almighty. His name is in the Book.

This vocal style of singing is the only type I listen to, and was extremely popular in the 50s and 60s. You can find other KZfaq clips of this bygone style if you know where to look and who to look for. Those enthralled by this, should also check out Hi-Los, Singers Unlimited and Clare Fischer's vocal arrangements.
