Why is double brick construction still being used in Australia? Doesnt this turn the home into a pizza oven in Perth summers? I get that its better for sound isolation but how is this reducing cooling costs?

Nowadays, more builder are leaning towards brick veener due to more advantages such as better temprature regulation, noise reducation and more :)
