Such a wholesome vid. Really enjoyed this upload, I’ve got a young son myself. Question on your Thunnus - how has it held up in the salt for you? I had one a while ago but it got splashed on the yak & needed a tear down. Shimano just replaced it but I’m thinking of leaving it for strictly chunking.

Came to watch for Ugly Stik and now am saddened to see you keep such a small Yellow . The Yellow is an endangered species. I'm certain any professional Yellow crew is appalled as I am.

Why bring such light tackle off shore? That doesn’t seem too smart.

Hooked up to a nice shibi about a week ago. But lost it at the kayak! Let me know if you found any offset hook in its mouth or belly lol could’ve been the one I lost. I was using a soft pole so the fight was about 2 and a half hours of tug o war. But nice catch keep up the awesome videos!

Dan -- great video. Enjoy these times. My son is now a 17 year old junior at Punahou. One more year. He was like Fin at that age. Sand, poles, beach ocean, net, and fishing -- he never wanted to leave. Haha Take care, Rich

I would like to correct when he says “ half inch” he actually means inch and a half. So 1/2 Wrong Same goes for when he was talking about 1/4 inch it’s inch and a quarter 1 1/2 correct

Thank you for showing such an interesting video, I have always liked to make what I like with my hands, especially when they have a high cost, thank you for giving me an idea to make a sail, I made mine with less than 70 dollars, like I put a telescopic pool pole on the mast and I made the sail from Blue Poly Tarps, it works very well for me, thank you once again for sharing good ideas. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/eMmAi7eZ2anao40.html

I saw this in action on Shane’s kayak and I had to see how that amazing craftsmanship was done. Beautiful work and so dang effective. So much better than having bait with all busted tails and fins 😂 One question if you have the time: I failed to look at how the water is expelled; does it just overflow out the top?

@@FlyingFish_TV Well sorry to hear about the divorce if you are the respondent. I am in the same boat but I am the petitioner. Took all I could take and received the blessing from my two sons. Slow going but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Wish you the best in whatever lies ahead for you. Stay positive above all else 🤙🏼
