Listened to this book on tape about 6-7 years ago? while on a road trip to Montana. What an amazing tale. No one is perfect - not even David. But he rose up to meet the challenges he faced through life. He made many mistakes. We all do. But he didn't give up or make excuses (well, maybe a few, but he self-corrected) and pressed on. Great story, great book, great interviewer, and great man.
