I am watching Batman with my wife and mentioned to her how often I watched this on VHS as a kid. I told her Bugs Bunny told me I needed to buy a ‘Warner Brothers ball cap.’ Seeing this 30 years later blew my mind.

@@JamesTaylor527 haha i remember watching the VHS a million times back then too, the diet coke commercial was funny too, but the warner brothers ball cap ad was hands down the best! Thanks for watching!

Sacco is one of our most important journalists. Sequential artists today are producing work that is far more significant, important, and groundbreaking than what’s happening in literary, theatrical, and film circles
@Firguy2 ай бұрын
What impact do you think Joe Sacco's storytelling approach in 'Palestine' has on your understanding and perception of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and why?
@ComixSkate2 ай бұрын
Good questions you raise, The way he relates his experience gives the work the ring of truth. By not shying away from unsavory elements it lends credibility to the personal accounts, lessening the effect of exaggeration in recounting their experiences and humanizing them. If i had read the comic years ago, what difference would it have made tho? it’s hard to think that any stance i take could affect anything, but maybe encouraging more discussions can help lessen the violence somehow?

I'M Dead haha. Man it's really hard to lighten up but he made a choice to put his estate with others now. He was in a hard place. He didn't want to be (you know) the Rodney King figure of cancel culture for ever and ever Until his last day he was remembered for the allegations that seem to be #fake. He loved comics and didn't want to have that stigma of having to be political every time he showed up to an event, somewhere. It was too much pressure for the guy to become a pawn in the culture war. It was taking over his life. His life was no longer his own. Long live Eddie P. I would rather he stuck around. It was too much to consider for someone like him who lived and breathed every moment comics. Thx for the comedy relief. He would have approved, I think.
