I just saw this post, have been out of it rehabbing from a 2nd knee replacement surgery. Good luck and hope to see your videos again when you are settled. I understand the snow removal thing!

Well Steve. Sad to see a layout go, but you are making a good move. Think of all the extra time you’ll have for your layout without all that acreage to take care of. I look forward to your new creation. I will guess you are tearing it apart on August 28th. However, if I am closest you can keep the boxcar on permanent loan. ☺️

Fully Understand Steve. I’ve had my heath challenge this year and am hoping to be moving soon as well. I’m in a small apartment and am hoping to upgrade into a house and a bigger layout. Good luck with the move and I look forward to the future.😊👍🏻

Enjoy your move. Hopefully, you can rearrange your layout and fit most of it into the new home. I bought my house, a ranch, almost twenty years ago, making sure that virtually everything was on the main floor. I have a full foundation basement, so I have my trains and man cave down there. It is certainly my forever home. Good luck on the new digs and keep posting videos, when the time is right.

…one more thing, I’ve never thought of using the flywheel itself for the band to power a generator. It would get more spin out of the dynamo. Thanks for the idea.
