The top was put in with the clippers closed with that guard, why open it when taking it out.? I need to know.

Yep…when fading the top line out use the 1 guard open …then count down 5,4,3,2,1 and it will disappear/ Fade

His technique is considered backward because you use your trimmer then the razor but you do what your comfortable with .. still a nice line up

Shout out to this video and more importantly Mr. Culler.. I taught myself how to cut hair but this is the video that taught me how to fade.. and the proper steps to UNDERSTANDING the process of doing a fade! It’s crazy how fast 7yrs go by! I had a coworker who wanted me to cut her son’s hair.. and me being a young and fairly inexperienced barber at the time.. I watched this video at least 4 times before I cut that young boy hair lol!! It helped me out so much! I followed the exact same steps and the fade came out great! 🙌🏾

I couldn't finish watching because that #2 blade raddling so loud. You make need my services. However, the #2 is the way you start, the the 1A, then #1 and finish it off with the Masters. Keep up the good work.

Yes start at the middle of the chin go to each corner of the mouth and eat outside corner of the eye and you can visualize a triangle tape shape that will help you with your front light its called “lines of symmetry”...its old art term!

What is the point of leaving the puff of hair for the cowlick to make it appear even, if you're going against the grain everywhere else anyway? In my opinion, evening out the cowlick with the rest of the hair would look so much better than an awkward puff.
@coachculler
@coachculler 4 жыл бұрын
SoLDieR Sure all your choice...if you cut over that cowlick in the front against tge grain...let me know how you fill in that bald spot...lol...he preferred to leave it a little longer and lay it down with a wave cap later...but do what works for you...thanks
@soldier1026
@soldier1026 4 жыл бұрын
@@coachculler No disrespect. I just figured that logically, if you're already cutting everywhere else against the grain, cutting the cowlick against the grain too will leave it the same length and therefore not look significantly lower. But you'd know better than me since it's your client.

Coach one thing I had the balding in the middle of my hairline as well and you did apply the correct procedures to maintain the hair and not really show the difference but you messed up towards the end once you get to certain length the spot looks light instead of even

The key I have found to nice fades is not to put in harsh guidelines. I don't use trimmer to put in guideline unless I have to.
