While i get it. All these companies wanna cut the cord. But why not have like a m18 cord where you could make all your m18 tools corded if needed.

I try cutting with mines in some tight spots and it stops and won’t cut why would that be my battery is fully charged ?

Is the blade moving before you apply it to the thing to cut? If so another thing to try is a high Ah battery. Mine seems to work fine as long as the blade isn't pinched up against something before pulling the trigger.

Mark Thomas! Just came across this Video. There is always going to be a power and runtime advantage with gas powered products, of course, but Battery Technology will continue to evolve. We can Thank the Global Warming Zealots for that! 🤭 This blower looks to be very well thought out and engineered. My dumb question is can it just run on two batteries, and what would that run time be? It would make for good video material, to compare this to Milwaukee’s backpack blower, which I understand is a bit underwhelming? @ 04:06 Beautiful imagery there Mark, on your gorgeous Property. Hey, if ‘Oakley’ approves it, how can ya go wrong?! 😊 🐶 SLO Mo was cool! Good stuff Mark! 👍💪🇺🇸

Thanks George, this would be an interesting comparison to the Milwaukee blower. I've only tested the Milwaukee one at the Equip Expo and it seemed to work well for battery power, but I haven't tried it in real conditions. The ECHO website has a runtime chart on this blower with different configurations. 2 - 5Ah batteries run 20 minutes on turbo and 35 minutes not on turbo. I also recall this turning on for me with just 1 - 8Ah battery. I didn't try it out to see if it continues to run. Now I'm curious and will have to try it out.

I hate serrations. They make a blade useless for most edc tasks which require a fine straight edge like s utility razor or a Sheepsfoot and what it’s meant for which is being sharp and cutting stuff! Serrations make carving, whittling or shaving wood impossible. They’re totally useless fir pruning in the garden, or food tasks around the home or out and about. They’re also really hard to maintain a decent edge. Their only benefit is if you’re needing a rescue blade that can hack through the webbing of seatbelts fast or if your dealing with marine rigging and need to cut through heavy cordage.

Good demo here but one thing that really stands out as a negative in your system of cutting and sharp knives is. Your cutting board sucks, it will dull knives a lot faster than an open or end grain of a wooden board, you can get one for about 50 bucks and that will make your sharp edge knives last twice as long or much more depending how much you drag the edge along the board. The weakest link will always be what hurts results the mosts and right now, from what we see here, it is than thin, hard surface cutting board that I'm sure costs next to nothing and is easy to clean. I hope you can get a replacement asap because it will make a huge difference in how long your sharp edge lasts.

@markk3948 3 күн бұрын
@MarkThomasBuilder people don't understand that ratchets are made to run nuts off not to break them loose that's why you can do it your self with the tool. What I was saying is did the ratchet run the bolt all the way out because there was room or did it hit and you had to turn it out the rest of the way with your fingers

Hello Mark! How do you feel about the synergy, a year later? Still prefer the Zero-G?
@MarkThomasBuilder
@MarkThomasBuilder 2 күн бұрын
That's a good question. I definitely like both of them. The Zero-G stores a little easier, so I'll probably go with that one as my top choice. The Synergy is a very close second, so I guess it's what you prefer for the hose material.

So for me I love the design but have one major problem. That would be the gas pedal design and that is due to leg problem. Would be 100 percent sold if it had a paddle shift on steering wheel for forward and reverse control.

That would be a nice option too. My foot is fine for about an hour at a time mowing. If I go longer than that, I'll stop for a few minutes and get a drink of water and take a quick break.

Mark Thomas!!! So, ditching Milwaukee for Ridgid? I KNOW that is not the case. 😆 I really like that cord reel. If you can get your link fixed, I will use it. If I were on the Ridgid platform, I think I would go for the Turbo charger? I am curious as to why they have the fan cut off early? Makita, DeWalt, Metabo HPT, all of those fans will run for a few minutes, after the battery is fully charged. Curious? I spotted Leo! He tried to make an entrance. Good stuff! 👍💪🇺🇸😊

Hey George, hope you're doing well! Thanks for letting me know about the link. I just fixed it. The link is for the same brand reel, but it's a 60', because I couldn't find the 50' version. I've had the reel for about a 6 months now and use it all the time. I like how easy it winds up and has 4 plugs. It would also be great for camping. Thanks for stopping by, Leo says hi, lol!😂🙌

Your 5min of mowing : area is inconsistent since the echo lawn mower cutting weight is 21 inches and the Stihl is only 19 inches. Now do the same test with both mowers being either 21 inches or 19 inches then post the results, but other than that it was still a awesome video.

What part of the world is this video from? Interesting how there are very few clips in the pipe works. I can't see in the video, did you hammer the anchor in with a punch tool? Tip- there is a reliable, quicker and easier way to do the hanging. For 1st fix plumbing and heating I usually use rod hangers. You just have to drill a 6mm hole and then screw the hanger using an impact driver. Tip n2- there is a Milwaukee threaded rod cutter on the market. A very handy piece of tool and I'm very happy with the performance and the time saved doing 1st fix copper on price. The model in the UK is M18BLTRC. Keep up the good work! 🔥
