G'day Dave, Ah, So, I've spent about a dozen years wondering when you might wake up to what paying attention to Not Eating Shit Turns out to be Good for... I greatly doubt if I could have taken 7 lethal doses of X-Rays through the Face/Neck plus half a fatal load of Cytotoxic Cis-Platin...; If I'd been eating Dead Animals for the previous 35 years... Not eating the Essence of Dead.... Appeared to have been helpful, at least. Not living on Processed Shit is great, but I just survived 2 years between going toothless and taming the second set of Plastic Fangs. My capacity to eat was greatly diminished. Lately I buy a small Gourmet Vegetarian Pizza for $19, and because it's Box fits in my Camping-Fridge that's 3 lots of 2 Slices and those two bits of Pizza are my daily Nutritional Baseline, eaten cold with a knife & fork to avoid pulling the (glued-in) Falsies out of place... Wheatflour Base, Cheese, Tomato Paste, Actual Tomato, Olives, Halopeno Mushroom, Avocado, Basil & Garlic Aoli. That rounds out the Coffee, Coconut Milk, Honeyed Cashews & roasted salted Corn - as Snacks. And, on the other hand, When you stop living exclusively on Industrial Waste & Marketing Jism, You may well find less need to eat the Crap peddled by that Trick-Cyclist Who's getting paid to feed you Zombie-Pills...? I've been buying Concrete... 4.5 Cubic Yards in a day ; Very highly anxiety-provoking, So I paid a Concreter to do the bits Which mattered For me. So far, so good. He fixed up Chrissie's one Major Upfcuk, When one wall of Formwork "Blew-out". Luckily I Outsourced some Actual Expertise (!). Such is life, Have a good one... Stay safe. ;-p Ciao !

G'day Dave, Yay Team ! "Adventure Dental...", Eh ? Okay... Try this as the Baseline marker. "How Adventurous a visit to the Dentist can get ?" The Full Clearance Experience... It's only taken me 2 years To be able to enjoy Peanuts again, after that. And the Plastic Fangs Only Take 15 minutes to glue into place, with 1/4 hour after that for the Polydent to go off... And then another 20 minutes to remove them and get the Glue off one's Gums. After that, a Cup if Milo (Hot Chocolate) and Dunked Choc-Chip Biscuits, to Abrade the last of the Polydent off one's Buccal Mucosa... And then, bloody near an hour after feeling drowsy - one might be in a fit condition to go to bed. But it Beats the shit out of Sustagen & Porridge & Soup for A Year & a half ! Such is life, Have a good one... Stay safe, ;-p Ciao ! PS, What d' y' reckon about my Hypothesis that MAGA's last Gasp will be 2nd Ammendment Methods of having the current Speaker sworn in as Acting Prissydunce....(!). Or, Convince old Trumpy to follow Biden into retirement, And substitute Ivanka in his stead. The Simpsons PREDICTED IT, wayback In about 2004... And while Topsy the Prosecutor beats th Doddering befuddled Convicted Felonious and failing Old Geriatric... Sure - that be Easy to see Going down. G'day Dave, Yikes ! That looks a bit undefendable, as Vegetation in which to contemplate a wind-driven Burn... I'm following a Bulldozer with my new Electric Brushcutter, about 32 years after the Track was put in...; 15 hours to do 400 yds x 4 yds..., and part of the rationale is to allow a Firetruck to access the Powerline Easement which bisects the hundred acre Block for which I'm responsible...; and Access Roads work well as Firebreaks, and Edges from which to ignite Hazard Reduction Burns. Bloody Global Warming...(!). There seems to be some Eye-popping Tornado & Storm Footage coming out of the US lately...., at least judging from what my YT Feed shows me,(!).... It's a worry. I'm doing 2 of the 3 trips to town per week for Groceries on the electric Motorbike instead of the Subaru Forester, at 1.3 Litres of Fuel in the Generator per trip instead of 2.8 in the Subaru... So, my personal Virtue-signaling marginal Tokenism is, at some level, actually "Working"...(!). You might enjoy my rant about Colon-isation, posted recently (?), if you can spare the time to critique my view of the Theologies in-play... Such is life, Have a good one... Stay safe. ;-p Ciao !

Your electric transport looks awesome fun. @@Desertphile Thanks Dave ! I must confess that I'm sort of in a phase of pumping out Long-form Warbles at the moment..., after the one on Israel's Colon-isation you might want to consider yesterday's "Observer's Guide to Australian Domestic Violence Norms..." Nearly an hour & a half, Walk-&-Talkabout Through the Forest in the Sideways-streaming Golden Sunset Light... No Booze for 4 months makes a big difference to holding a complicated Train of Thunkin's, apparently. And the funniest part was that I had a day of Brushcutting planned - but then spontaneously sat down in the Sun for 4 hours, with 1 bit of paper, 4 Pens & a Ruler, Graphing 11 Variables over 2 months, 969 Km & 27 Recharges of the Sting.... Trying to analyse it's Battery's response to going into service after 6 months of being wrapped-up under the Tarpaulin. 33 Km-long Trips which used to take 52% of a Charge now only take 42%...(!). If half of that improvement is down to my Learning-Curve on Riding skills and Energy management (?), then the rest must be due to the Battery having decided to forgive me... (?) ! Occupying my Conscious-Mind with transposing Numbers into Graphs, apparently...; then I wandered off to go to the Start-Point in time to begin walking back, towards the Sunset, to collect all that Lovely Slanting Golden Light with the Camera - as it bounced back off me and the Landscape... As "pennance" for the "wasted" Sunny day...; now I get to change the Pod in the Eco-Loo & Cut some Firewood..., before the Rain starts Today... "Go With the Flow...!" Is good for the spontaneity and the creativity..., but it can play Merry Hell with the Chores (!). Such is life, Have a good one... Stay safe. ;-p Ciao !

@Desertphile you sent me a screenshot of your route in the past. It's just that the "north road" from the HWY to Old Mormon was closed when the area was designated wilderness. So now only the "south road" is accessible to get up into the Avawatz. It's just with all the flood damage from Hurricane Hillary and all the other storm damage that damaged 127 north of Baker, I worry what the condition of the old jeep trail to Avawatz Crown is even passable now. I will find out this fall when the temps are cooler and CalTrans has finished repairing the HWY.

It was a pretty thick gooey mass by the time it was ready to be left somewhere warm to rise so, I hope your mixer has some torque. Actually, maybe a decent drill might do that if your mixer can't. I'm not sure since I've never tried it, the thought just came as I was typing. There's only 2 things I know that really hit my sense of smell enough to brighten me up and 1 is waking up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and the other is home made bread, done properly as it comes out of the oven, both are awesome to wake up to. I had a drip filter coffee maker years back that I'd put on a powerpoint with a timer set to start it half an hour before I'd get up for work, oh man, I'd nearly float out of bed and into the kitchen waking up to that. I'm too lazy these days and haven't made bread in years, though just thinking about it is inspiring me a bit, nor do I bother with more than instant coffee at home now. Good thing there's plenty of places around here that make awesome coffee, not like that Starbucks rubbish either.
