Only discovered him a few years ago. If he hadn't passed away so young, he would have been a sensation here in the Hollywood Music Industry. Love his voice, and he was also a beautiful person. 💔

Why did Jools Holland interview so many mainstream singers and musicians who frankly, had very little talent, and yet he never interviewed Lynden. Lynden David Hall was without question the greatest soul singer to come out of the UK, and yet Later ignored him. I like Jools, I just don’t understand why the producers of Later chose to ignore Lynden. An interview with him would have been amazing, as he was, as is evident, an amazing singer and musician. Opportunity passed by, from the producers of that show.

Lynden and Courtney rocked, not just on this song, but always. Just listen to Lyn’s vocals on this, and Courtney Pine’s groovy sax playing. If this was played in a club, and I was, by any chance there, I’d have to get up and jiggle!! I just love this cover of this classic song, and Lyn going high and low with the moves!! Such a great singer, (this song showcases it along with all his own music). Courtney Pine also so great, a fantastic musician. Rocking!! RIP Lynden, you were the greatest soul singer the UK ever produced.
