I prefer the original wood, but I do like the latte colour as well, very elegant! The pattern made it look too busy and messy though, I think I would've saved to pattern for the inside of the drawers. That can be really nice - it'll be like a surprise on the inside!

That looked like one of those horse hair or possibly boars hair shaving brushes that is used to spread shaving cream on your face. You could check out one of those high end shaving websites, I can’t immediately think of any by name but I’m sure a quick google search will show you some.
