Headlight looks like trash and I owned 3 previous Dukes in varying sizes. I would opt for a Tuono V4 factory or Streetfighter V4 S or M1000 over this any day of the week. Torque schmork, learn how to ride. A GSXR stack cranks off a faster 0-60 than the 1390 so save the torque bs.

I just got my SD last week in Friday, i got the same issue you had, rode it for 6 KM started to turning off it self for no reason, TC malfunction, engine light, but not a fuel pump error, then it totally died on me, called the tow truck, and brought it back to the dealership, their answer in my case was” the gasoline was dirty” (i didn’t had even the time to put gas in it) now it seems working fine after been in the workshop for 2 days. Shall i trust what they told me or not? #NOBULLSHIT

I have owned old brit bikes my whole adult life until now at 62. So I'm more than familiar with that type of riding position. I absolutely remember the O.G. Z1 900. It was king till 1980 and trick out models remained some of the quickest nastiest bike,around..until the suzuki Gs 1100 in 1982...the new king... Anyway, I would know the difference between a speed shifter or ride modes on a bike bc 70 triumph bonneville didn't have all that...im selling off most of my old stock and plan on spending some of the money on a modern sport....ish...or sport touring bike to ride till I'm too senile to carry on. ..this z900 rs especially the se model is on my radar..as,well as some bigger boys like the fjr1300...thank you fir the vid, I'm getting mire good than bad information on thr z900.

Mind is Steller Blue..I have done 9500km.. Smooth and gives around 37 to 38 km per litre..A speed of 60 to 70 km/ hr is really funny..😊 City ride is ok .. comfortable to ride at 10 km speed also..

It makes 47hp at 6000rpm for A2 license reasons. Other markets have it rated at 52hp (51.7) at 6500rpm. It has more useable power than the meager UK rating would have you believe and full torque is at a low 4800rpm. It makes 80% of its torque at a low 2500rpm so it's a dream to drive in town and on back roads. It does well on the big road too and is only turning 4200rpm at 120kph (75mph) and is just heavy enough to not get blown around by big trucks. It's not a sport bike but it sure is relaxing to drive and has plenty of grunt for all traffic situations.

Buy the standard version. You will love it as it is the best looking of the W800s. I have a 2022 that has a red tank and black side panels. It looks very similar to a 1969 red Bonneville. The green and blue are nice to.

There's a new Vulcan out like the VN series. In fact there's two of them. Complete with V-Twin engines. Honestly don't know why anyone would ever touch a Vulcan s. It's absolutely hideous. It's not even a f****** V-twin

Duke 890 R > Street Triple 765 RS > MT-09 SP > Ducati Monster > Z900 SE... Z900 is the heaviest, the cheapest, the worst suspension, worst brakes, worst tech. Z900 is beautiful, unfortunately not the best option imho.

My only issue is the seat always feels like its leaning towards the gas tank. Its a good bike but a budget bike.

People who buy bikes and don’t get the suspension adjusted for them, don’t know what they are missing. Makes a huge difference if it is way off from factory, which it often is.

What does it take to have ABS and dual discs?

I previously owned the Z900 RS and found the fueling in town to be poor. Does this bike share that trait?

They could've done with a facial update though; it's been this look since 2020 unlike ZX6R, ZX10R (and the whole range of smaller ninjas) that have had 2 face lifts for the better already.

Had something similar on my gen 3 1290 SDR just after I bought it…warning lights all over dash etc. read online it might be related to low battery voltage. I kept it on a battery tender after that and never had another issue with it in 2 years.
