And the PNP is reversed for flat (Knit, Purl, Knit)....Does it really matter in the round?

Why are you knitting instead of purling three together for the raspberry stitch pattern here as for the flat version?

Hi Maria, just had to say that I don't know how you came up with this alternate way for working this stitch in the round but it is BRILLIANT! I made a beautiful horizontal herringbone scarf in DK with over 400 stitches (and a lot of sweat) but it came out beautiful! Problem is that when I wanted to make a cowl with this same stitch and I learned the "usual" way for switching direction to make it in the round I thought it looked uggly at the transition. After lots of trial and error and research I came to your video and although it has taken me some playing with the tension to get it just right it is SO AMAZING! It truly is jogless and looks infinitely better (barely noticeable at all). Thank you SOOO Much! I haven't seen anyone who provides this beautiful method, I will spread the word as much as I can, but hope more people can come to recognise how wonderful your way works!

You don’t have a pattern to go by I don’t want that big of a scarf

I don't understand Row 3, you say to go back and do Row 1, but when you get to Row 4 you are going against the grain where the purls and knits were. Thus ruining the rib pattern.
