Checked voltage and resistance at ecu and connector it’s all good I think it’s my ecu do I have to replace or can I re flash it?

What about sensor wires do you test for resistance and how much Ohm for the sensor side. I know you said the heater element is continuity, I'm interested in the signal side resistance.

Hey I need help

Great diagram and information. Im having starting issues. When trying to start the engine, the engine will start for about 1 and a half seconds, then die. Most times, the engine starts and runs fine. Intermittent problems suck..... you aren't sure if you fixed the problem. The truck runs fine, but has this occasional starting problem. Its happening more frequently now. When its running fine, i can run it steady to 4000 rpm while driving, indicating no fuel pump or filter problems. I just pulled the fuel pump relay and the terminal with the gray wire is not shiny at all. The entire terminal has a grayish green tint. The other 3 contacts are fine. Im hoping that cleaning this terminal cures my problem. Thank you. I'm hoping this is my problem.

Will the car still click when trying to start if its a bad ground? I have an 01 deville and sometimes when i try to start it, it wil click one time and sometimes it takes 5 or 6 times in a row until it wil start but it usually starts after attempting 4 to 6 times.

I have this issue now the mechanic put trans fluid in my oil he said it’ll clean the engine he got rid of the check engine light now it’s back on and I hear a poppin from the exhaust

Yeah, just lay stuff on the paint and scratch it all up.

I’ve dealt with this in 2012 traverse. Because it’s direct fuel injection the catalytic converter and the valves need to be cleaned about every 30-40k miles. The cat got plugged up with gunk and the valves had gunk on them. I had the control module changed cleaned out the catalytic converter and used direct injector cleaner after taking off the intake and throttle body. It started right up. It’ll have to run for about 20min to get all cleaned out of it.

Hello pete! So I recently had my throttle body rebuilt! About two weeks ago. I have a s-10 blazer 1989 4.3l 4x4. It was running for a good while. So when they rebuilt the throttle body they also switched the oil pressure switch. That turned out to be faulty so i had to go back nd switch it out again. As j went back i switched my spark plugs and spark wires. I did not replace distributor cap or rotor. My fuel injectors arent spitting any fuel!

I have a eldorado 2001 starter free spinning not engaging need some advice

My 1990 is doing this exact thing except for my pressure switch is good and the relay is good. I also have 12v at the pump prime test wire (mine is gray) with a test light. I turned the key, and it lit up for approximately 2 sec. The fuel pump is also new. Relay clicks. No prime. I changed the fuel pump because it was dead. I drove the truck for one day, and it never would prime and pump after that.

I cannot for the life of me find any information on the 2004 chevy impala fusible link. I had a mechanic work on my car and forgot to install the belt cover, after a few days I turned my car over and smoke came out of the battery side. the wires from the main relays and fuses and the rest of the car had been torn through by the belt and shorted together. As you can imagine this is an electrical nightmare, I have replaced the relays, non of the fuses where blown, i replaced the ecm, I was going to replace the starter but it started fine before hand, maybe the fusable link blew? do you know what guage wire i would need to replace it?

Watching your video was a complete waste of time. You don't show anything about swapping out the PCM. How do you get the old one out of the car to change it out?
