Try to apply a texture to the surface encapsulated in Enmesh or for eg: 'Pattern 000 merged' used, in Materials set a texture and use it then for Enmesh.

You already contacted me by writing this message, but you didn't specify what kind of problem you have with "skp to Blender". If you don't know how to transfer the model from SketchUp to Blender, either export the model as a DAE or OBJ file, or use the SketchUp Importer addon in Blender (use Google for the link) and import the skp file directly.
