I had those on my lifted 97 crew cab (15" lift) I drove the truck about 15' then decided to remove and return. They looked like giant balloons to me :) I went back to Ground Hawgs. They look good on this truck, but a mud tire would look better imo.

Also make sure you install a tapered lift block on the rear otherwise you may suffer driveshaft vibrations. This is required on all single driveshaft trucks, all Excursions have single driveshafts, so you can maintain correct pinion angle to transfer case/Trans.

On my 2000 Ex I did the factory X codes springs up front and 1" shackle lift and raised it 3.5" and a 5" Ready Lift factory style spring block on rear, threw out the factory spring block. Its always better to use one block , stacking is not a safe practice. Now it clears my 35's and sits level. Handling is awesome and with addition of the stiffer factory F350 rear springs I installed I don't need to add a rear sway bar.

Likely not. But I know with other tuners, they tune around it. But for some reason, the OEM senser still needs to be connected. Makes no sense. But it is what it is.

I ordered the same clutch master cylinder & slave from SBC. When I replaced my clutch. The master cylinder lock tabs and spring washer broke less than a year after installing. I don't know why. I'll be replacing the master cylinder soon. Great video.

Same exact setup here. Front axle shifted foward a couple inches and shocks are at a slight angle. Bump stops not centered either. Any clue? Front leafs could be flipped and gain an inch but the military shackle would then be in back

Brother you made this look too easy 😂 I find myself trying to separate the inner body folds/ rockers in between the front and rear doors… exploded a grinder cutting wheel and would rather not do that again. Any tips on how to separate would be greatly appreciated!! Great work and thanks for documenting!

This is a super cool build! I built a 2002 7.3 shorty, with a 4 inch lift, 2005 axles and 40 inch tires. Not as good of a rock crawler as i hoped, but it looks like a mini monster truck
