I tried this with the border for my book design but when I upload it to cricut it completely disappears. Any tips? Thanks!

Do you commission your work? I tend to read books that only like having a "smaller" collection (say ~ 200 books) that I actually would like a great binding for them. My taste is eclectic and ranges from philosophy, to religion, to treatise on war strategy and politics (Art of War, A Book Of Five Rings, Modern Strategy), and that leads to politics, the Malleus Maleficarum, Marquis de Sade, on into The Prince, some of Kafka's works, The Divine Comedy, The Bhagavad Gita, and so may more too numerous to name). It appears you have a talent for your skill, and preserving literature to the best of my ability, is something I prefer to do instead of holding cold, tablets with no smell of the time it took to assemble and craft a high quity piece of artistry. If you work on commissions, or are available on ETSY, I would be most interested in converting something I may eventually give an heirloom they may grow to appreciate over time! I am most impressed with your dedication and your commitment to your craft! 👏👏👏👍

Does anyone know how to convert my canva cover design into cricut?

If you don’t want to use the trace and cut feature, you can download your cover as an SVG file which you can directly import into the design space 😊

Where’s the Authors name? It’s disrespectful to not include JKR’s name on her work.

@aboundbindery I really love the new covers of the Harry Potter books you have made in this video. Unfortunately I can’t buy the books from you due to that I work in a place for people with various disabilities and I do not earn money on my work. I do love Harry Potter. 😊

Super job showing this process! Clear, concise, and thorough! I tried watching someone else's video and they made it seem so complicated that I stopped watching and just gave up, really.

problem is not all chip board is cut straight by the manufacture so you have to cut in the middle to get good sides and edges. lol

I use Cricut, but the canva design bit was super helpful. Ty! Do you ever make your canva designs public that others can use as well? I've been on the lookout for a good HP design that I like, and the border creation you use is something I hadn't thought of myself <3.

Hello ! Thanls for the video! I would like to use transfer paper because I don't have a cutting machine like yours, but last time I tried the paper that had no ink to transfer left stains on my book cover. Do you have any solution? 😊

Not sure if you've found out by now or not, but you can bring them all into the same page by choosing merge instead of open when you want to choose the second and third pages :) To change from inches to mm, you go to Edit, then Preferences and then choose mm on the drop down for Unit of Measurement.

what do you use to print out your silhouette ? sorry for the noob question :)
@abound_binderyАй бұрын
Don’t worry at all! The machine itself is called a Silhouette and it’s a cutting machine that can cut (or draw) whatever you design onto a variety of materials. Cricut is another popular brand. I hope that helps 😍

Can you do a video on how you design the cover? How do you get the right measurements?
@JessiePanda926Ай бұрын
This video is insanely helpful! I am struggling with adjusting the measurements to the t-spacer I currently have which is only 5mm as I admittedly did not do a lot of research before I started buying tools... Do you have any suggestions on the width adjustments I could make to maintain about 3mm overhang with zero to minimal trimming?

I went to find the video on how you make your custom vinyls with the cricket and just realized you're a brand new channel. THIS IS SO CRAZY HELPFUL!!! I'm currently trying to learn news ways to continue this hobby and your videos have been insanely helpful. You give really good explanations for your process and make it really easy to follow along. I would LOVE to see a video of how you come up with/produce the custom vinyls and I've already hit the bell to be notified when you drop it. Thank you so much for making these videos, I hope you continue to grow your channel and continue releasing!!
