This system has no code. Jacdac is a Microsoft system using Kittenbot Jacadaptor and Kit B which has a motor board and a power board. The servo motor (positional or continuous) plugs into the motor board. When you turn on the switch of the battery power board then the motor shows up on the computer screen. Now you can swipe left or right and the motor turns if a Microbit V2 is plugged into the computer by USB. We have many videos about this. You can also add code in MakeCode.

Yes, I think the intention by the designers of the Sensor Kit is to make it more child friendly. I find RGB is NOT correct. The code suggests pins12,13,14 but there are only 2 data pins per connector, like 12 and 13. Also, 255 on red bubble of RGB series does not show red. Is it GRB ? I cannot make that work either. @makecodeandhardware13952 ай бұрын
With just changing the code @loafers1014 , you can make it go faster by increasing the numbers in the bubbles for speed: Set all motor direction rotate forward to speed (80)....to speed (100). and the same with other speeds. This will make it go as fast as possible. But it might be a problem because the sensors might not be able to read the input (black line or white paper) fast enough and the bot car might go past the line edge if the wheels turn too fast. Try it and see. Sorry for my late reply.

I have a question. When I tried to download my own modified program into the micro:bit by pressing "Download", a message came up and said "The hex file is not available. Please connect to internet and try again". Did that happen to you before as well or is there anyway I can fix this?
@makecodeandhardware13953 ай бұрын
I think this happens sometimes. Try to work in a different browser, if using Chrome then try Edge or Brave. Or: Try "save" the program, not download. If it saves as a .hex file, in your downloads folder or other folder, then plug in the Microbit and drag the .hex file onto the Microbit drive. Also, when you save or download make sure to click "Done" if that is offered. I hope this helps. Tell me if you have more questions about it.

Would it be possible to explain the code
@makecodeandhardware13954 ай бұрын
@user-zh7ti9xx4z . Yes, thank you for asking. This video is from 2 years ago. I will look at it and explain each part of the code so everyone can better understand it. This will require some time for me to do.
@makecodeandhardware13954 ай бұрын
Ok, To explain this code, You can see that there are 3 parts, forever, on button A pressed and on start. Now the on starts sets the conditions and parameters as you would expect. So a new variable is created called "valor". And that is set to equal 0 to start. Now we set the pins on the scales to P0 and P8 for data and clock . Then we say: begin. Now we describe 'serial' with TX and RX and declare the rate of data transfer (I think) at 9600, Next we write strings on 3 lines and the rest of the seral write I really don't understand why but I copied it...maybe someone else can explain all the serial write stuff. Next there is a scale setting of 2280. And "tare" on scales has to do with accounting for the weight of the container that holds the measured material so that the container does not count in the weight. You only want to weight the material not including the container. Now there is a pause of 1 second and then more writing of the measuring of the weight. All of the dark blue blocks can be explained by someone who knows more than I do about coding MakeCode for the Microbit. I don't know where the 4.47 comes from in button A pressed. It does not seem to be a conversion from oz. to gm. The Forever loop is way too complicated for me to figure out. I think I got all this code from someone who had written it before. Maybe this will help a little bit.
