It has its place. It’s very high quality, a collector’s item, officially licensed by Capcom…everyone knows you can play these games on a calculator at this point, but these retro mini consoles are undeniably cool and very fun to hack.

This hack is for basic CPS1, CPS2, CPS3, and neo geo emulation (CPS3 is not full speed in this build but still very playable). Theoretically with a different hack I’d guess it can play up to N64, but I like keeping it all Capcom arcade.

As far as I know the current hack I’m using doesn’t support it, but the machine itself is more than capable of ps1. We just have to wait for someone to open up full Retroarch on it, or do it ourselves…which I’m not capable of 😂

I feel like Konami missed a good opportunity. They should have skipped out on the Japanese language only board game and went with Martial Champions. Its a Konami Property and the system could have used a one on one fighter, even if its subpar.

Many years ago(80s) I loved Galaga when it came out. I'm not sure how many years later I was in a store where there was a Galaga that was different. I can't remember it much but after a certain amount of levels you have to destroy planets. I'm trying to figure out the name of it. I only saw it that 1 time and unfortunately I was in another state. Geez I loved those old games. I used to have super Nintendo or Playstation and cartridges that had the old games but we were robbed and I lost all of our games sets. We had wii,Playstation, super Nintendo and my much loved 3do. I had tons of games and accessories. My child moved out and maybe a year later we were robbed. So we didn't replace anything but we also couldn't afford to replace any of it. Oh we also had commodore 64 with tons of games. All gone. Miss those things and I'm almost 60. Lol

The regular TB16 mini is apparently burning out USB controller ports as it does not come with a wall plug and those with the correct voltage are sold out. This is definitely the better option.

thanks for the video. I have a shield pro 2019 and sandisk extreme pro 1 tb usb 3.2. I accomplished to setup. It runs most of the games. But when I tried to play Tekken 2 or 3 it failed. When I tried to run Tekken 1 (the older version ) graphics comes but very slowly. What can be the problem?

This was a great video! I adore the Dreamcast, so seeing people keep it alive is amazing. I hope to get a second console one day that I can replace the disc drive in with a GDEMU, that would be really helpful when it comes to playing games. I don't want to completely remove my ability to play my physical games, so I would love to find a broken one I could breathe some life back into!

There was a time I was looking for more video's on the RG351V and this just popped up 2 years later! I love this thing! Russ turned me onto it years ago, I got the Odin and the RP3+ but I always find myself picking up this thing, too many great memories when I was a kid with a gameboy lol. Great review! Hi, and thanks for watching! Emulation is perfectly fine on the Shield even after the update, but this particular Hyperspin build no longer works. That said, every single game on my memory stick still works, I just need to use either Retroarch or stand-alone emulators. Android is android, and this is still one of the best android boxes around.

I've ordered a couple of the Analogue Duo consoles but will be using MiSTer FPGA at present. The PCE games run well on the Analogue Pocket and the system is incredibly easy to emulate. A cheap Android box, Raspberry Pi or low spec mini PC will also work well.

Very true, I have he entire us and Japanese library running flawlessly on a pi zero 2 w, which is tiny and cost me 20 bucks! The reason I prefer this mini to that is the user interface and curation of the games. It’s a very clean and nice presentation.

I have the core grafx version which is great and that has the turbo switches. As is the case for the turbo grafx version. The original PC Engine console never had turbo switches so they have kept the mini console technically accurate.

UK and Europe called it a PC engine core grafix . It was the same shape as this white console but it was dark grey and black

This version (UK) is slightly better than the white Japanese one. It comes with a controller that has the turbo switches on it AND you get Salamander in the games line-up, which the Japanese version does not have. 👍

The technical subcontractor behind all those mini consoles is still relying on the same old chipset so they are stuck to that level of performance hence why they keep releasing similar gen consoles.

I thought I'd sold them or something decades ago. When the playstation disc cover popped open i went "yeah". It's chipped to play Japanese games and copies. And I've still got one of my favourite ps games, Bishi Bashi Special. Cant find the xbox controllers though. I've played the master system and nemesis through mates growing up, but never owned Sega hardware. My destiny was shaped when my dad got us the Nintendo game and watch. My brother did the gaming, I did the watching. It's great to see you back, look after yourself and rest up. You have to wear a fanile or you'll catch a cold. You will keep on collecting megadrives, and I reckon if you stack em up high and get creative with some hot glue, you could build the first ever Japanese mecha style Nemesis gaming bot. M2 dropped the ball on this one: _nobody wants to blame M2_ because that company is regarded as "the savior" of retro gaming, *but the truth is* that plenty of their projects have been failures -people just tend to remember a few of their smash hits, and forget the examples of M2 software that were lackluster or just plain bad. Absolutely nobody can be blamed for this other than M2: they say they ran out of time, and they offer all kinds of excuses… and those excuses will never be good enough.

...the first 10 minutes of this game is incredible. Truly satisfying. Thank you vampire hunter bro. I wished it never stopped. I tried all the castlevania's on your card and on powkiddy A12. The mega drive castlevania plays a little differently which I liked, can't remember precisely. I'd need to go back and compare them all, it's been a long time. I'm still not over my Castlevania II Simons Quest nes trauma. So i thought I'd buy SOTN on the xbox and play it full screen and give it a good effort. It was less than 5 quid. But then I got recommended Vampire Survivors for even less quid. I won't spoil anything for you. Just get it and play. But a massive health and safety warning coming up...... don't even start this game midweek because you'll be up all night and won't be able to make work the next day. Ideally wait for half term or something. This is a Castlevania game. The journey continues...

...I got to the outer walls of the castle. It took me a while to figure out putting different weapons in each hand. I still don't get the menu fully yet. Also I think the rom version was faulty as my heart counter was never adding up despite collecting hearts which put me off playing for a long while. I'm avoiding guides and videos for this game. Just doing it blind. Took me a while to figure out pressing up on the tetroid makes it spin and save the game. The jumping in this game is incredible. The sprite control is 100%. I'm terrible. But maybe it's the small screen I'm playing on. So i bought it last night on xbox. The heart counter works now. So I got a full screen and two less excuses. My current strategy is to use the shield and moonwalk But enough talk!...

No this isn't. The ultimate mod is the DC HDMI. Also that PSU is janky and the stock one should be retained unless you are importing a 110v DC to a 220 country and vice versa and then you could always just find a for parts DC from your region and swap the PSU from that.

psp runs great on mine lol
