Saw your name on the list i didn't see you though would of said hi, I generally play 2/5 when I'm there. I will say 5 bet is generally ks+, unless it's button vs blinds. It does suck that the guy was a dbag, The thing about qs 4 betting them I feel like you let your opponent play to correctly, unless he's overly aggressive, positions do matter, the later the positions relatively speaking the more attractive 4 betting qq becomes.

Never induce a river bet if you have the best hand, vast majority of the player pool are way to passive/nitty, at the lower stakes they call to much and don't value bet often enough. The same really can be said at 2/5 as well, but know your player.

He flipped his hand over and tabled it instantly the runout. So, not a slowroll. You overreacted big time and looked a bit like a baby. You said you didn't curse, but you did cuss him out - you even had to bleep it. You lost your cool when you should have kept level headed about the entire thing, tapped the table and moved on.
@andrewdinns1746Ай бұрын
Sounds like english isn't his first language either. not sure this qualifies as a slowroll.
@VaderPokerАй бұрын
I asked him multiple times if he had AA or KK, he said no. He asked to run it twice. He even shook his head as the boards ran out like he had nothing. THEN he proudly displays his KK. Yes, quickly, but the lying beforehand was the slowroll. And what bothered me was him cracking jokes as I walked away, but wouldn't say anything to me at the table. Regardless, you are correct in that it shouldn't upset me. Oh and I censored me saying it's a d!ck move because of the algorithm, not because I cussed him out. Lol.

I used to get steamed when someone would misrepresent their hand to slow roll. But in reality it doesn't change anything and I'm not going to allow someone else control my emotional state with something so stupid. You just need to really be detached from the outcome of a hand once the action is complete, including things like this. If you find that difficult to do, then don't ask "do you have Aces or Kings?" and instead just don't show or discuss your hand... and just wait for him to show or muck instead. After all, he jammed, so legally must reveal first. But overall, you'll find it healthier to just be indifferent.

Ya the 1010 hand in the begining. I was surprised you didn’t check back here. Remember what most do at these stakes they think by slow playing their hands and playing passive they will get paid. So for me I would have just checked back as both 2 pairs and trips/sets on this board would play the same way. Given the action.
@VaderPokerАй бұрын
Yeah I think that's probably better given how the hand played out on the flop.
@user-hr2zy7ct8hАй бұрын
Is that the optimal play or does it depend on if you want to protect or maximize gains? A hand as strong as this I usually don't want folds.
@VaderPokerАй бұрын
I'm realizing my full equity by jamming. If I call and a diamond peels, I'm likely not making another dollar. I thought the SB was going to call me as it wasn't that much to win a 200bb pot. But a win with A high is ok too.
@VaderPokerАй бұрын
After thinking about that a bit, I think the more multiway, the more I want to flat to allow worse flush draws to come along. Heads up with the Button, I think check call is a solid line too. This configuration, I think jamming is the better play. But I could be talked into flatting here too with such a strong combo draw. I do think a better A high could have folded (BTN), and I'm fairly certain SB folded a medium pair. So not a horrible result. Can't wait for Wizard to get multiway functionality for spots like this!

@VaderPokerАй бұрын
🙏🏼 Definitely a cooler, but it's almost guaranteed to happen when it's this multiway. Now, had it been 3 handed, definitely unavoidable. But with 6+ people going to a flop, the likelihood of being flush over flushed increases exponentially. That's the part I think I misplayed, and I wouldn't have been in that cooler. Hopefully, if you're in a similar spot, you learn from my preflop mistake. 😃

Seems like you played well on this video. I like your check back with the qs even though you have a fd, one of them likely have an ace, so a bet accomplishes nothing and if they don't you have them drawing near dead if they didn't flop a flush. 76s fine bluff on the river, I don't think you need to go that large for getting the hands your targeting to fold 30-40, not that it matters that much, your bet sizing is trying to get a weaker ten to fold to me, which would be super optimistic in these type of games.
@jsh08222 ай бұрын
There definitely isn't, my one counter to that is if the table is good, and generally speaking it only takes one action player, just depends how your feeling. If your playing 1 2 you should play at tch dallas deeper stacks. Good luck I'm biased to watching players down in Dallas.
