I like quick and simple, basically only other knot I use is a Palomar Knot for drop shot to get the hook to stick out straight. Never had a hook slip on a fish yet.

@@HarassinBassin wasn’t joking when I said fishing fool knot. It retains 100% line strength. I use it for all surf 80lb line braid and under. Does well for mono too.

You guys all know, the “fisherman’s knot” that I’ve been tying my whole life, (50+ years), is just a hangman’s noose that you put a hook or lure on, right?
