Jim Thorpe did a clinic at a course I was a member in 2006-ish. That man was gigantic and his hands were 3 times the size of mine, he had regular size grips on his clubs and I use midsize. I agree with "what feels good for you".

I hand sanded after taking off the ferrules and went to high on the steel shaft. Can i save the shaft from being so scratched by using a belt sander or just take my medicine? Love your work by the way.

The cart fee thing, I think it's a bit of a carryover from individual carts during COVID. I loved having my own cart all to myself. I'm guessing a lot of dudes don't like being paired up again in a cart and think they should have to pay half of it now. I'm not arguing that is the correct way to do it, I'm just taking a guess at the causation.

Great video and instruction. If Blair just put more time into his putting game he'd would have been 4-5 strokes lower easily. He had many great holes and 12 of 14 FIR and many GIRs but couldn't 2 put from 20-30 feet. Goes to show how important putting is overall in scoring.

My issues is the know before they get to the course every club they are going to hit off every tee. Now I understand on difficult shots or drastic weather change. But on hole one tee box no weather. It should take 30 seconds

Gimmie is an agreement between two friends playing golf to say “Lets have fun, and keep it moving.” Most guys get once a week or month to get out there with buddies during golf season to have fun, why ruin a day by making someone putt out a 2ft that might miss and just give them the benefit of the doubt that they make it. Why make your hobby a fucking chore?

Nah man. A gimme is a time saver. My playing partners never give a putt otherwise.

hello! the shogun red that you test it, is the M4 or M5? because of your swing speed and tempo you should use the M5, shouldnt you? and what lenght shaft are the 3 shafts? I have fast tempo and agressive transition, swingspeed 115-119(max) shogun red M5 would be perfect, no? thanks!

I purchased a MEZ1. But honestly, the best putter is the one you practice with to develop confidence. I perform the same with my Odyssey Stroke Lab One. The LAB isn’t a magic stick. I think what is actually happening is amateurs and weekend hackers are getting fitted to the lab versus their off the shelf putter.

How does one not rush. But also isn’t a bit slow.

Great video Caleb. I was going to come in earlier for a fitting, but Steve recommended that I wait for these to arrive. I'll be scheduling something soon. Never had a Titleist driver, mostly Taylormade. Looking forward to testing it.

Golfers getting fitted or taking lessons (myself included) are so anxious to swing/hit that most back-and-forth conversation is in one ear and out the other. Lots of "uh huhs" while we are trying to feel a move or see a ball flight, etc but it's not a real "uh huh" because we ain't listenin'! LOL I feel better knowing it happens to Caleb too!

It goes both ways like he says but fact is everyone playing could have done the same thing. They all play the same course with identical grandstands. Is he wrong? No but if it was him with the drop it'd be another guy complaining about his lie.

Normal play, no grandstand & ball goes out of bounds. But you also aren’t teeing off from 100 yards further back every hole
