You need 14 volts to power fast track switch or you will damage the switch , (Lionel)

Did you have any electrical issues when you put in your fast track? Some people say on these forums fast track doesn't let the current travel through and have dead spots I'm going 2 be building a layout and I'm wondering which track 2 use? If you did have trouble with electric drop offs how did you fix it?

I would look up rays electric train works. Superb service and good repairs! He turns them around within 2 weeks and is an authorized MTH Dealer and service tech! His youtube channel is rayman4449

I used to be in the hobby for a long long time more than 50 years !, price-wise it just got out of control , these train sets are not worth the money that they're asking for!, untrained said start going over a grand and much higher, that's the time to think about getting out of the business !, because you'll never get out of him what you put in them!!, and it will always come and day you will have to get rid of them !, major money loss!!, There only words with somebody's willing to pay
