I know I'm a little late to this video but I only just watched the last episode. It was pretty captivating and intriguing and that moment towards the end was genuinely shocking and well-executed. Anyway, again, you did a great job summarising the events of the episode and highlighting all the key elements while making connections to GoT and the book material. I'll definitely have to swing back when you talk about HotD next time.

Season 6 fully explains GRRM story but GRRM told D&D write a different ending & not spoil the books. GRRM is repeating Aegon( Jon) conquest (salvation) of Westeros with Rhaenys (Daeny) and Visenya (Tyrion). The Azor Ahai is the Three Heads of the Dragon. Jon is simply the Last Hero ... of three. It was book lore that dragon riders have Valyrian blood and are mostly Targaryen. Dragons can smell what blood you have. Daeny's dragons know the smell of her blood .. and .. anybody related to her. Tyrion visiting the Dragons was the book version of Quentyn martels fatal mistake. Tyrion was not killed ... because he's Daeny's bastard brother. GRRM approved the Season 2 House of Undying visions ... which clearly reveal Daeny will take the throne in winter ... and ... will die North of the Wall (still standing). Daeny is the first Hero of three ... who takes the throne & dies. Again. GRRM told D&D to write a different ending and to not spoil the books. This is why in Season 7 ... nothing made sense ... and Daeny was never going to take the throne in winter and then die north of the wall. D&D knew Daeny is Rhaenys and she supposedly died falling from her dragon hit by a scorpion arrow. Drogon in season 7 was hit by a scorpion arrow and Daeny almost died. This is confirmation GRRM is repeating Aegons conquest of Westeros ... with Jon, Daeny & Tyrion. And Jon marries Sansa to remain King of the North.

I hope they show the dragon fight between Prince Aegon the 2nd and Prince Daemon as described in Fire and Blood Both Dragons have a death battle with Daemons dealing a killer bite to Aemons Dragons neck and Aemons Dragon tears open Daemons dragons belly as a killing blow while both Dragons are clung together falling from the sky Daemon leaps over to Aemons Dragon driving his sword through Aemons patched eye and through his neck. Both Aemon and Daemon die as both Dragons hit the water bentheath hard

Not sure it makes sense. Dany would not go for this at all, so it only works if Dany dies and Cersei lives. In which case it is more about a betrayal than just who is first in line.

Honor versus Honor. Seems like back-stabbing philosophy might make its way back into the plot lines. Which, imo, is a good thing. If the Golden Company is truly a dominant force to reckon with, then betrayal will be their ultimate un-doing. I find the more honorable a man is; the more vulnerable a man is to betrayal. Trust me. I've fucked my fair share of friends' love interests/girlfriends to know.
