Vegas is scenic as is Phoenix. As to the latter, I remember flying EWR-PHX on a US Airways A319 in 2010, and the scenery being beautifully dramatic. At first glance it was a shock with the change of scenery.

Great video! Funny seeing no winglets. As an aircraft mechanic I remember around 2001 when the big “slipper” winglets became popular I was sad thinking they detracted from the beauty of the aircraft but soon after became accustomed to them and really liking them.

As someone who trusts the plane and the flight crew, no. But it would be okay to tell them because they understand that some people have a fear of flying

I'd love to see the comments on a large crab due to winds when the passengers are looking straight down the runway instead of the pilot. Happened to me one day going into Daytona Beach on an MD-80.

Capturing glide scope by the looks of it.
@NotAJosh18 күн бұрын
Looks normal, honestly probably like one comment said either capturing the glide slope, or the auto land is correcting the plane for a safe landing. Most modern planes especially as new as the max can land itself for the most part. Modern aviation is amazing… just don’t take a window seat
@looksirdroids913418 күн бұрын
Autoland is only used in conditions such as very low visibility. Not every airport is equipped for autoland, you need a Cat II or III ILS which has to be clear of other traffic because it interferes with the autoland. Autolands aren't as safe and they're a higher workload for the pilots and using automatics all the time degrades the pilots' flying skills.
@NotAJosh18 күн бұрын
@@looksirdroids9134 thanks for info, genuinely. Thought being able to assist it would lower the workload and make it safer. Sort of crazy, but makes sense more to keep check and what not :)

Rotates at 95. Does not take off at 200mph
@jimtheedcguy431318 күн бұрын
V1 is different for every flight depending on weight. But they absolutely do not rotate at 95, the lowest would be 130kts.

Ahhh... Lovely Butter.... Miss the classic 737... 737-400s and 500s was my very first type rating in 2005. But off all the classics... 500s is like a sport coupe of the 737s... Achieving butter landing was not that easy (at least for me 😅). You just have to be really precise and paired with good judgements since there's a lot of power for such a light bird. I really miss the classics.... However sorry for blabbering... Thank you for such a clear and sharp gorgeous video! 😊

@@cipherjoe9 The description is incorrect, hence why @vanhalo was clarifying with the question. The airplane in the video is a 300er, not a 400. @garyhashimoto7007 is correct, the 400s have raked wingtips. No need to be a smart aleck, we're all here to enjoy the content.

I rode a Boeing 737 Max 8 from Phoenix to Sacramento last week, and the right wing was shaking abnormally during takeoff and it was VERY loud! There’s something seriously wrong with these new Boeing models.
