how do I get these to turn on/off with my TV? You know what I mean? Like, I hit power on TV and the lights come on and when I turn the TV off, the lights go off? My last USB LED TV backlights did this, just plug and play --- these actually did (at first), I plugged them in, turned on TV and they came on... I didn't yet touch the remote, but then, once I played with the remote a bit through the different settings, I couldn't get that to work again...

Pro tip, do not vacum your filters. the pressure of a vacum is enough to destroy the filter weave and makes it leak particles. If you want more filter life, add a pre-filter, or wrap some microfibre toweling around the unit, a sheet of microfibre is 100x cheaper than a new filter, and will extend the life at-least 50% in most cases by stopping debris from clogging the filter media and preventing active carbon reactions.
