I remember seeing Caribbean Pirates at REDCAT in 2008. On like 8 huge screens absolutely mesmerizing. Paul McCarthy is a dieing brand. Such a visionary. I really wish he’d right his own version of Beckett’s Waiting for Godot. Or yes a rendition of Airplane!

I have so many questions. Is she barefoot? Does she have her eyebrows? Does she physically create the sculptures herself or just the ideas and works with a team or commissions? When casting her body does she alter the reliefs? If so, in what ways and why? Are we supposed to gain insight about her as a person via her art? If not, why did she use her body versus a model?
