Wow, nice job, but it was a lot of work I must say. You have truly earned your title, the fixer. Anything you fix is done to perfection.

There’s only one problem with it. Somebody can open that window and break into your house.

Seems like you ought to use 12/2 rather than 14/2 since the original receptacle looks to have been wired with 12/2. Is their a 15-amp breaker supplying this circuit?

Sweet! We got a huge a/c in a second story window. With your close up video and directions, especially the foam and wood placement instructions along with the closeup up the underside resting on the ledge, it was actually easy. Looking forward to the a/c cleaning video too.

Best video ever but you never explained how you got it out the box by yourself. I’m struggling here. 😂

Me again - the smoother the wall the shorter the nap on the roller. Those rollers are wrong for your beautiful flat work. They are to thick they are meant for textured or semi-smooth walls.

Great vide, thanks. Would help to offer alternative methods of doing some of this work if you don’t have all the fancy tools.

I think you are great. I did 108 sheets of drywall myself. Two tips always start with the ceiling , always work Fri. The top down. 2nd no need for all that measuring , so time consuming. Just go to the bottom of drywall and use a marker put a dot or tape a piece of painters tape to bottom edge , or floor right beneath. Reason to start painting on top of, if you did your work below then any problems, runs etc will fall below to your beautiful painted wall.

Great video. And yes, I was wondering what that hole at the bottom was !! Great place to hide your weed, but accessing it would be a bear LOL

I just got a quote for $4,750 to repair my steps. If someone was good at this I would think that they could make over $100.00/hr doing this.

The instructions about sinking the 1” inch screws into bottom of mounting bracket don’t seem right since the 1” screws are too wide to fit into the holes along the bottom of mount.

What about rain? Does the foam get wet during a Southeast Texas rainstorm? Water leak inside? Nobody seems to mention anything about it.

I'm an appliance repair guy and when I clean people's vents I not only clean them from the inside to the outside but also the other way and then I also blow them out but also as part of my service I pulled the entire dryer apart and I clean it meticulously for the customer because for some reason when guys work on dryers they usually don't vacuum up all the mess that's inside that causes the repairs they're there for also Grease the police by pulling them apart pulling the rollers off cleaning those all up and also greasing the shafts and pulling all the hair and lint off of those

If you had paid attention when you were showing the Stanley type door sweep comparison. You should have noticed that if you cut the other end of the sweep, you wouldn't have to cut the insert pieces off the end.
