Hey 16bit! This is Jack replying, I'm so sorry to hear that. First of all, I just double-checked with Zion on the support team; we've replied to all invoice inquiries. Could you please send us an email again at [email protected]? Secondly, for invoices, our support team would tell you that just like all other apps on the app store/Play Store, when you make an in-app purchase, you are not buying from us but actually buying from Apple or Google. And they usually don't provide invoices but just receipts, you should have received the receipts on your email right after you made the in-app purchase. If you really need the invoice, I'm afraid you have to contact Apple or Google for them; If you made the subscription from KIRI Engine on Web instead of the KIRI Engine app, you can actually find the request invoice link on the receipt email you get :) I hope it helps, and I'm so sorry if this tedious process makes your day bad, it's really out of our hand :(

At my bank account there´s a payment visable direct to "kiriengine/222 main street suite 500/salt lake city/us" Any you say me, it´s a apple thing to get a correct tax invoice.. come on! Good question! I assume you were referring to the PLY format, correct? Even though you can import PLY directly into unreal engine, it's not the same as 3D Gaussian Splatting's PLY. It has way more information embedded. So to make sure UE is capable of reading all these extra information from 3DGS's PLY, we need to develop a plugin for that

This kind of photogrammetry software normally cost your 3000 USD (i.e. metashape) Feel free to let me know if you have any questions while trying the app

I'm pressing it- upload "Upgrade to KIRI Engine Pro Upgrade to KIRI Engine Pro to get access to KIRI Engine Web" Is it already paid? I'm from Russia, unfortunately, I can't pay for anything abroad right now. That's why I wanted to try it for free at least. Is it possible to do this? I only use iPad Pro 12.9” and I always use iPad Pro because I have deaf/blind (low vision) you forget think about all of them hearing / blind and deaf/blind Look at your setting > Accessibility and everything list you can see. Also Magnifier camera too.

Hi there! Thank you for your comment. I understand your frustration. The KIRI Engine was originally designed for phones, not for iPads. We do have plans to enhance the user experience for tablets, but this update won't be immediate. If you have an iPhone or Android phone, I encourage you to try the KIRI Engine on those devices, as that's where the KIRI Engine will really excel :)

Hey Marco, thanks for the question :) It does (most of the time, lol), although we still recommend making a full 360 scan. I've seen one of our users on our Discord community scan a door panel for his customer's Porsche 911. Although we have featureless object scan, it's still pretty tricky to scan shiny car bodies. The trick to make better results is to include the entire car in the camera while you slowly circle around the car. Featureless object scan doesn't quite support close-up shots (because it uses AI to recognize the object, if it's just a part of it, it's pretty hard for it to do the job) And if you couldn't get a good result for some reason, I kindly ask you to stay with it a bit longer, because, we have a huge update coming up in a month with a new Featureless Object Scan 2.0 :)

@@KIRI_Engine_App oh nice, thanks! I got the Pro plan, now I just have to make some recordings in bus depots. Based on the early tests it works great for half of the model too! Just a small suggestion… Sometimes 200 pictures or 2 minutes may be not enough, hehe But it’s fine for most usage.

To build an app like KIRI Engine, we divide the developer into front-end and back-end, each having their own unique skill sets. For the front end, developers focus on creating the user interface according to UI designers' designs; you can learn how to make front-end-oriented apps from many app development courses and KZfaq videos. For the back end, developers are focusing on making sure the 3D scanning algorithms work as expected. For that, you'll need to have backgrounds in computer graphics, computer vision, and a little bit of machine learning (and python as well) Hope this short reply can help you a bit in figuring out what you need to learn, feel free to let me know anytime if you have any questions :)

Hey Arial! This is our app issue. Currently, we don't have the algorithm to generate the mesh of an edited 3DGS. It's because we used the video you shot for both 3DGS and mesh, but when you edited the 3DGS, we can't use the original video any more and if we are going to use the 3DGS's own data for mesh generation, the texture will be super bad. We are still trying to find a way to work around, so please bear with us

Totally agreed! 3DGS and voxel share so many similarities. Compared to mesh-based models, 3DGS has undeniable draw backs; But what really makes me excited about the 3DGS is that it can do things that mesh can never do (like the red flower example I showed at the talk) And compared to voxel, it is so much light weighted and has shown the potential of better editability.

Good question! If you use an iPhone Pro that has LiDAR, the Object Capture mode can be quite accurate dimensionally.
