Leaving neverland was a movie. They even had movie reviews at the premiere they didn’t have journalists. This podcast is embarrassing to listen to. This is anti Michael Jackson propaganda. Let that man rest in peace. He had done so much for the world

I can't imagine how difficult it must be to get through this song, with Barry thinking about his brothers and Sammy thinking about her father. I know for a fact, I couldn't get through the first line thinking about my dad who died last year from stage four cancer and my beloved boy, Sammy, my eighteen year old Apple head Chihuahua, who died seven months before my eighty year old dad, my two best friends in the world. Im lost, will never, ever be the same again as long as I live, but I move forward like dad made me promise to do, because I have my eighty one year old mom and fifteen year old niece and a house full of my beloved pets that need and depend on me, as well as a lot of things to do in life, so I still,as always, do everything with one hundred percent effort, never going through the motions, because dad always taught us to do a job or activity, such as my favorite things, music and sports, and would say, when your baseball game starts tonight, remember what I taught you, and give it everything you have, a show or occasion my band would be playing, mom and dad always there, he would say, you do this a thousand times while practicing in the separate garage I built for your sound proof air conditioned studio, as well as live, get up there behind those drums as if you were at home alone and go at it, half way through it, you won't care if you look up and there are twenty thousand people out there. I still do that with everything, because it makes you feel good when you give your best effort and a job lioks great or you stand back and look at a car detailed in and out to perfection, makes the effort worth it, the same with your sporting event or show you put on. Still play with my original band twenty years later and at sixty years old, but folks, since Sammy and dad have been gone, if you said, Billy, that was a great show, you were on point Tonight on the drums or damn, car looks like it came out of a show room, I would as always be honest, but now say, instead of what I used to say, well you give your best effort like dad taught me, so you can be proud of your performance or job done right, now, I honestly say, I don't and cant remember, let alone believe how great the car looks or how great I was on the drums, because although as always, I give nothing less than one hundred percent, dad and Sammy were going through my mind the entire time, thinking about the good times as well as the bad times towards the end. Im sure there are a lot of people out there who can say the same. I would really love to hear from you and would appreciate any help with dealing with this. Thank you folks, [email protected]

I remember the Cowsills when I was in elementary school. Those days everyone listened to the radio all the time for the top hits. We had a stereo you know the kind that looks like furniture. We bought all the 45's for $1.00 ea. Saw the Cowsills on the Ed Sullivan show. They are the original Partridge members the TV series based on. Now they call it bubble gum music. Loved those days.

Thank you so much for this interview. Billy spoke often of his love for Waddy but this is the first time I was able to hear the other side of that love. I was Billy's drummer in Vancouver B.C.; played with him for 11 years. Took over the chair from one of the greatest players in this neck of the woods, Chris Norquist. I didn't have Chris's chops but could keep good time; it helped that I was a close friend of Billy's bassist Elmar Spanier. I know these names mean nothing to most folks outside of the Vancouver area, but Billy was a huge influence on musicians here and playing with him was like being invited to sit with rock royalty. You had to have something going on to be in his circle. We went from being a killer cover band (playing songs by "Big Dead Guys") to a tight little recording act called The Blue Shadows. It was the addition of Jeffrey Hatcher on guitar that was the catalyst. He brought Billy out of his cynicism and encouraged him to write. Together they penned some of the best country rock music to come out of Canada. The arc of the Blue Shadows was short and dramatic. I was there for it from start to finish. In some ways it scarred us deeply. The torment Bill suffered in his family's band played out in the beautiful music we created and the relationships twisted by his past. We all loved the man but we did not care for his demons. Here we are doing our thing at an instore in Winnipeg, Manitoba 1995. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/htyhe9Ny3M-yfZ8.html Enjoy!

Just gone deeper into the Cowsills since seeing them recently on the Happy Together Tour, they were the highlight BTW! Hats off to Susan for her forgiving spirit when dealing with her father. Most people never think about the fact that their parents had a life before we came along, and their experiences shaped how they parented. Not an excuse for being a terrible parent, but it does mean we need to understand that everyone has a past and is dealing with their own sh1t. Susan's attitude is very healthy.
