@theuncutdirector3283 At the moment, only the included magazine and a 20-round mag that comes with a different blaster (the N-Series Sprinter) works.

For some unknown reason this is the only model not release in Aus yet so I go ahead and bought one from amazon usa. Got a lemon in which the prime bolt just stuck and won't pull back. Wonder how common that problem is or if amazon got a ship load of defects. Will have to wait for local release and buy again.

The tomcat has a 50 rd drum compared to 25 with the stryker 2.0. That's enough for me to prefer the tomcat.

Shell Flex? One point that annoyed me with the Tomcat, is the big cutout to make room for a drum meant the blaster shell would flex. Could visibly see it bend downards as I prime it. (looking down the top rail makes it obvious) How's the Stryker in this regard?

If the clip that holds the scar barrel isn't holding on to it as best as you want it to then I suggest switching it out for the Nexus Pro X clip for the scar barrel.

I’m sorry dude but you’re way off the mark on this one. It’s definitely as high quality as the Nexus Pro X. You can feel it when you pick it up. Not only that, it’s way more accurate. First 10 shots I took I hit all 10 cans I was shooting at from 50ft away. I’m seriously puzzled by most of your comments here. Did you try using the Dart Zone BCAR on it? You have problems with the design yet if you hold it side by side with the Nexus Pro the differences are small but actually improve the design. Better barrel placement and it’s longer…

@jerryrush892 I totally appreciate your opinion and perspective! However, for now, I stand with the opinions discussed in the video. For me, accuracy seems to be about identical when compared to my NPX. With BCAR, SCAR, and without anything up front. It's PHENOMENAL out of the box accuracy, but no better than the NPX. I really do feel like the plastic is thinner in some places. (Though I don't have any exact measurements beyond "feel") You didn't experience the loose SCAR holder or sights? There could very well be some modal discrepancy. I do appreciate the design. And I do think the blaster is great! It's just that it doesn't click with me like the NPX did, and I happen to feel that it has some shortcomings. I would love to hear more of your thoughts! If you'd like to continue :)

Im skipping this like i am the venom. I think nerf might have better offerings this time around. I prefer the torrent over this one. Plus with a metal barrel and a spring upgrade im sure you can get the torrent to this ones levels. Im in no way a nerf lover. I haven't bought a nerf product in years but with the venom which to me is a cut down omina done right and this being a rush job from what all the creators are saying nerf might have it this round. Now when that xshot comes back in stock on Amazon it will blow all of them out of the water.

Im curious if firing from the cylinder or the magazine makes any difference in fps or accuracy?

Not that I've noticed. Once the dart is in place, there shouldn't be a difference. I guess I should test to make sure! :)

I think it's an *okay* blaster. The performance price and included accessories are great. However visually speaking it's a very ugly blaster and the SciFi theme does not work for dart zone. Plus I feel that the drum was an unnecessary inclusion that made it difficult for them to sell at $49.99 and makes the blaster fall flat in certain areas like plastic quality as a result.

Honestly, I’m personally not super interested in this blaster. But I do appreciate that it isn’t just the Nexus X but green, it does few unique things like the drum to mag compatibility! But overall I think I’d rather have the Nexus X. Great video 👍

Great review! I haven't gotten one in hand yet. However there seems to be something off with it, almost like it's a prototype? It's kinda odd to me. However still a cool option, and I may get it to review

Solvent welded is an instant no-buy from me. If I can't get in, even if just to service or repair the blaster, I have no interest.

Previous muzzle attachment (1.0) was for... Mega darts. Many this one also works with those darts? Could anyone check?

@michaciemniewski9791 Ok, so it doesn't have a great fit with anything. Too big for Elite, N1, darts, but too small for Mega or Rival. The only thing I could fire somewhat effectively was a Mega XL dart. Stuffing it awkwardly down the muzzle. But, the included SCAR is actually much better at firing these

I think it’s awesome that they decided to go with something unique for this blaster rather than being a copy of the Nexus X, and being able to switch between feeding mechanisms out of the box is really cool! Tolerance issues are a little annoying, and I’ll be sticking with the Nexus X for now

A couple things: first, when I filmed this video it was so hot that my Ember, Bamboo 2.0, and new Nitroshot Bamboos were melting. The glue to fix the head on that is. Anyway, because I tested in extreme conditions, take my numbers with a grain of salt. Some high numbers could have been caused by dart heads flying off. Secondly, thanks to @jackboulter4901 I now know that this blaster is not cross compatible with full-length Nexus Pro X springs.

So just quickly, The nexus pro X springs aren't compatible with the stryker 2.0 as it's stock spring is shorter in length and wider diameter, you can't swap the end caps over either to use the nexus pro x springs in this. Hope you don't mind me saying 😊, Also the new nitro shot+ bamboo darts are 1 gram.
