See most people dont like Disco because it just focuses on the story and not gameplay which isnt true but if it was it wouldnt even matter because the story transendes video games.

So overrated. Absolute doggie doo foo. Don't let em fool you, there was a whole thing where the developers were giving out flat fees of 3000 to reviewers. The game is awful and forces you to perform a series of disgusting crimes of a exual nature and then the bugs turn out to be Native American in a very racist twist. In some parts of the game you're forced to take a dog that won't stop barking and pick it up and dash it against the rocks in FLIR thermal imaging and you see the insides in thermal imaging. But the upside is you get to bring Communism back to the world and that's good. I don't enjoyed the level where you quell a hunger strike by finding the leader of the local civil rights movement and in the middle of the night you bring him and his family out of their home and force him to choose between which kid to be executed and then you're turn kill only 1 of his family members but you gotta do it slow with a knife or his entire family by firing squad. Then you process the family and feed them to the locals as "meatoskavic". I might be confusing this game with Cartel Carter: Morality Mayhem. The "Sadism score" was very fun. Breaking innocent people was way funner then I thought, being able to burst a prisoner's eardrum by shooting a pistol near their head or using a revolver and ghost loading the cylinder to scare your prisoner with each click. You could fully load the cylinder and still accidentally have a dud round was realistic. Just wish the beheading system wasn't pay to win, using real audio from real beheading footage was genius 🎉

In the first hour I was still bumbling around the bar. I've done about 5 hours now and still haven't recovered the body. All I've done is look around a bookshop. This game is SLOOOOOOOOOOOW.

Dunno what all the fuss is about. The game is glacier slow, frustratingly overwhelming and with a ridiculous steep learning curve that is enough to put anyone off.

I recently started playing this game. It creeps up on you as to how good it is. I’ve made it to the 3rd island, and it really blows to lose late in the game. Yet, it’s also very satisfying how your skills improve with each run.

I love this game so much. I've noticed I have good days and bad days with it though. Some days I breeze through even the nastiest content pretty easily. Other day's I get killed by monke lol. It's great fun either way, though off days get pretty frustrating. The combat is just so damn satisfying!

More than spooky world, Inland Empire is just active imagination. It is often represented during spooky events because those are the ones where imagination takes over, as logic and rethoric cannot exain everything.

Ok Gamers, get ready to start hurling insults and all that. I love exploring stories in video games but just straight up suck at them. This game looks really interesting but your review tells me that on its face it's one I just won't enjoy. Is there an easy mode? Cheat codes? Anything that makes it playable for us life long weaklings? And any form of get good or you just have to practice will be ignored. I play video games to unwind, I will never put in the time or effort to get good at them. I am not the Dark Souls audience. I grew up on the old final fantasy games. I prefer turn based to frantic experiences.

Yeah this game had me feel things i honestly havent felt in a game before. It was similar to reaching the top of a hike while backpacking and just taking it all in. You never feel in danger, but the challenge is in the journey itself and the steps it took to get to the top. And thats also what makes it so fulfilling. Like swinging around in spiderman is fun, but i wouldnt call it fulfilling. It activates that sense of wanderlust irl that i rarely get from games.

"there's no randomness". . .yeah there is. you don't know what new enemies will pop out of spawn points. you don't know what they will target. you could place all your mechs and the enemies all scatter in different directions. . or the one guy you can't afford to get webbed gets webbed. and even when you have everything under control, and you have multiple spawn points blocked, the one spawn point you didn't block might spawn an enemy you don't want to see, like a spider which then webs multiple mechs and prevents you from getting an objective. that being said, it does look like most maps are solvable with minimal to no losses if you play it right

It's good seeing a positive review, seen some negative reviews and it being compared to BG3 which isn't fair. considering it came out in 2017, but honestly there are some things DoS2 has that BG3 lacks

Once you know what the game wants from you, and how to succeed... It's actually much easier than a lot of other Souls games I've played since. Now that could be because Nioh 1 was my entry into the Soulslike genre... But grinding this game's bones comes down to using the immense set of tools, with an (over)importance of gear, properly using and switching between stances, properly Ki-pulsing, and mastering the Yokai shift counter. That's all easier said than done... But it's very doable from almost anyone. But once you get that down, and you start delving into Omnyo magic and Ninjutsu tools, you can make short work of Nioh 2. There is just a lot of freedom regarding how you approach and play the game, and it's not nearly as rigid and mechanical in its approach and demands as From Soft games and most other Soulslikes. I say all of that to say... It's not that hard if you don't play it like other Soulslikes and take FULL advantage of, and engage with all of the systems the game has in place. But it does suck that a big portion of "maximizing your potential" is done via the endless gear grind and spending lots of time in about 2 dozen different menus. At a certain point you're not even getting mechanically better... You've just mastered the loot-loop and the time intensive, menu-based upgrade system...

Great review as always! ❤ I left sable after couple hours, because the graphics which makes this game pops out from the crowds, also makes it boring after sometime (atleast to me), but it's fun exploring however 😅
