Thing is, with how little ammo player is given, even the first half of the map is very tedious to max, since it requires continuously organizing infight between half a thousand barons and several dozens SMMs who slowly drip in to 3 platforms one by one to replace the fallen.

Quite the beast of a map! I like it enough to try beating it saveless, but that one room at 14:10 being so deadly is discouraging. My most consistent strat is to just stay in there by the switch and spam rockets, which is terrible.

Actually, you can leave the cybie area and return to the imp place: SR40 over the edge onto the starting spot & TP again. This way the fight can be simplified to BFGing grouped cybies from across the gap. When no ammo is left in the imp area, it is entirely possible to return to refill & get out again, repeat. Obviously, this strat is not for speedruns 🙂

This is the most amateurish TAS Run I ever saw! I quite enjoyed it, it looks like a normal run with all the failures and makes it watchable, not like a bot fiesta.

The rev retaliating with a missile is 100% sure to happen if the pain chance is triggered, and it skips the melee checking distance. So make sure you got some cover when you're gonna go Mike Tyson style on them ,to get rid of the projectiles

@@dustin6225 Not everyone who makes videos is a career KZfaqr that treats the site like a numbers game, especially not when the videos are for a small niche community that still plays a game from 30 years ago. The fact that you see someone putting random silly unrelated stuff in their thumbnails and not only immediately assume the worst but also try to get their channel removed speaks volumes about your character. That or you're a troll, which speaks for itself.

I feel awful about most of these mistakes, especially the backtrack-softlock. I guess I didn't have the project oversight to make a map of this size without a bunch of problems popping up. Insane run though, reminds me a bit of ZeroMaster's No Chance reality tas with how you just blazed through everything.

Considering you've well proven your abilities at this point, i think TAS only slaughter maps is a great idea. More action packed, less down time, and overall more exciting content! Keep up the great videos! edit: Also realized you're able to focus on commentary more and have more time to explain strategies without the distraction of having to avoid dying at the same time!

I've been wondering what kind of things tas tools can do, hearing you say rewind was enough to get me further interested. I've used DSDA a few times and it's pretty neat that it let's you slow time down, so I guess that's considered a tool in itself maybe. Now I gotta learn more about tas tools. Just for an appreciation, though maybe I'll get into using them too!

In fact you can manipulate RNG, Is amazing what tools can do, check out Zero Master's TAS he has some pretty nice runs and prof of concept things

You can also manipulate the outcome of damage rolls like always dealing max damage or taking low damage.

Played the first Kingdom Hearts on the PS2 days. Good times. Still holds up, as I played again on the PCSX2 about 10 years ago, and then again just last year on PS4, and got the platinum.
