This was very helpful! Thank you for the way you delivered this. My husband and I just bought our first home and I want to keep our lawn pristine! Last week I just cut our front lawn with our gas mower which is old and the grass blew all into our flower beds. I got on Amazon Prime and ordered all electric Ego lawn equipment, the edger, weed eater, blower,lawn mower, and line striper for when my grass gets higher and more filled in. Now I’m researching KZfaq videos on how to cut and how to have a dark, lush San Augustine grass. ❤😊

Our generation GOTTA do better at passing down basic knowledge like our grands and greats tried to keep doing.. I just go around blindly assuming that it's common knowledge.. If it's dry, water it 🤷🏽.. Water at night or early morning so it doesn't evaporate too quickly..

Thanks for this video! The tip to lay the trimmer on the hedge to cut was just the thing I needed - I knew I needed to be careful not to cut too much, but such a simple thing made a big difference.

In Vancouver we are only allowed to Use a Sprinkler once a week for 1.5 Hours Saturdays... The higher the population the less water allowed to use unfortunately

@@PoloFieldsLawnService garden, orchard, native perennials, rock… maybe you live in a HOA that enforces grass, idk. But with the same amount of time, energy and water, you could produce something from that space and gain a fulfilling hobby. Grass lawns are the result of mimicking oligarchs from centuries ago. It’s just been cemented in American culture as some sort of status symbol. It’s really not a normal thing for the rest of the world, unless you are very wealthy

We live in a neighborhood with mature trees. As soon as the sun goes behind the leaves and not in direct sunlight I hit it with water it about 15 minutes until the soil is wet. I do detached the lawn and it helps tons.
