Hi Mitchell great video I have one question could you please help me understand if it is by doing this export also possible to segment the demographics report also, by specific campaign or it is giving you only overall account overview? Since I don't think LinkedIn has this data for ad level the campaign level is the lowest level we can go to
@kindlymarketing8 күн бұрын
Thanks! In LinkedIn Ads, you can see the demographic data at the ad level. You can select ads and then click demographics to see a sample of the demographics for those ad(s). The Looker Studio dashboard shows the demographics at the account level. I have an open question with Porter Metrics about whether we can also segment it by the campaign and ad level. I'll follow up here soon and let you know if that becomes possible in Looker.

Thanks very much for sharing Mitchell, great commentary for some of the high level context on the bids themselves (within the suggested range) too. I'm looking to see what type of delivery we could see well under their bid ranges, which are sometimes very high. It seems our Actual CPCs are often above the manual bids themselves..
@kindlymarketing8 күн бұрын
Thanks for the feedback! Several factors can impact your CPCs, such as campaign objectives, ad formats, and targeting. The more relevant your ad is to the audience can also help improve your CPCs. Additionally, if you have "Enable bid adjustment for high-value clicks" selected, this can cause your CPCs to exceed the manual bids set. Have you tried testing different ads or audiences?

I like conversation ads because you can use multiple CTAs. Just as an example, you can have a direct CTA like 'Book a Call' and another one like 'Not Sure, Tell Me More,' giving you a chance to share more information and repeat the 'Book a Call' CTA. You can get inspiration for your own conversation ads by searching for %firstname% in the ads library: www.linkedin.com/ad-library/search?keyword=%25firstname%25

@kindlymarketingАй бұрын
Hi there, thank you for reaching out. If a different partner ID shows up, it might be linked to an old LinkedIn Ads account associated with your website. Here are your options: 1) Locate where the Insight Tag is installed on your website. This is typically done through Google Tag Manager or directly within the website’s code, often in the footer section. 2) You can remove the existing Insight Tag from your site and replace it with a new one. 3) Although it's possible to ignore the old tag and add a new one, I recommend investigating why the previous Insight Tag is there to avoid any potential conflicts. Let me know if you have more questions.

Will LinkedIn users be able to post comments on the boosted personal profile post?
@kindlymarketingАй бұрын
Hi There, users are able to comment on most sponsored content style of LinkedIn Ads. Those are the ads that show in a users' LinkedIn Feed, like a single image ad, video ad, thought leader ad, etc. Users can't post comments on ad types like text ads or spotlight ads, as the format of the ad doesn't allow that. Let me know if you have any questions on that!
@StartupCaptainАй бұрын
@@kindlymarketing Hmm... KZfaq nuked my previous comment or put it in moderation. Would this post on Linkedin: /feed/update/urn:li:share:7208845524219674624 be considered "single image ad"? That term confuses the hell out of me because aside from one image I also have TEXT in there!
@kindlymarketingАй бұрын
@StartupCaptain Hi Alex, that looks looks like an organic post with an image. I know the terminology is confusing. A single image ad is the most common ad you see, it shows in the LinkedIn feed and has an image, introductory text, headline text, and can have a CTA button. Check out this video to see examples of all the ad formats: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rJp9qaplmNTagoE.html. I'm not sure about your issue with 'comments', but if one comments on an ad, the advertiser can manage those comments and delete them. Check out this video on comments: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rZycgtmkr76mn5s.html Let me know if you have any questions!
@StartupCaptainАй бұрын
@@kindlymarketing Yes, that absolutely is an organic post with an image. But the million-dollar question still remains unanswered: Can that "organic post with an image" AKA a regular post with an image be promoted? Yes or no? And if yes, how? As a "single image ad"? It ought to be possible to answer such a dead-simple question, right? I initially believed your video answered that question, but apparently not. Or at least, that last comment of yours confused the hell out of me. I understand that the Linkedin knuckleheads can't communicate. But you as an expert in this space ought to be able to explain the whole thing without any jargon terms and without any confusion. Am I expecting too much?
@StartupCaptainАй бұрын
Also, I'm pretty sure there are at least a million people desperately trying to find a real answer to that question every day. So, if you could create a non-confusing video with appropriate non-jargon keywords in the title, I bet you could get at least a million views to that video every single DAY. I'm exaggerating only slightly. For example: "boost" is a jargon keyword invented by Linkedin knuckleheads. No one would ever type in the word "boost" in Google in a million years! (unless they are working with Linkedin ads every day). "Promote" is the normal word normal people use every day.

Hi There, Each advertising account can only be linked to one LinkedIn company page. I'd suggest the owner of the LinkedIn page to create an advertising account, where they can add their billing info and also add you as an account manager. @@kindlymarketing Just to clarify, it doesn't work like on Facebook where they grant access to their ad account but can't access billing data. I'm not sure if I'm a bit confused. Thanks for your patience.
@kindlymarketingАй бұрын
It's been a while since I've had to add a Facebook account, so not sure how it compares. Based on your situation, you can create a new LinkedIn Ads account and associate it with the company page since you have access to the page. When you advertise on LinkedIn, you need access to the ad account and to the linkedin company page in order to promote ads for that company...just make sure you also have paid admin access to the company page: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/a6yRZ5mYytrIgmw.html Let me know if that helps!

Great, concise video, thanks! What do you suggest as the most valuable type of content to build your audience in terms of engagement? Writing LinkedIn posts vs. full articles vs. KZfaq vs. ???
@kindlymarketing2 ай бұрын
Thanks! Great question. First I'd think about where your ideal audience spends there time. For example, if you have a B2B (Business-to-Business) service or product, LinkedIn and KZfaq can be great channels to use. Then you can focus your efforts on providing content for those channels. In terms of content, providing helpful valuable content does well across all channels. That can be anything from tactical how to videos or more in depth strategy posts. Giving away a lot of valuable free info does wonders. So far for my small KZfaq channel, I've gained a new client from it! For the content format, I've seen LinkedIn posts (short videos, carousels with tips, how to info, etc.) and KZfaq videos do well. I think organic blog style articles can be great over time, but may not get a lot of initial engagement. Lastly, you can do some research on all the channels and see which type of content gets the most organic engagement (i.e. follow some people in your industry on LinkedIn, then scroll through your LinkedIn feed and see how many likes and engagement different posts have). Let me know if you have any questions.

@kindlymarketing2 ай бұрын
Hi There, The conversion event will be Active whenever there are conversions, even if they aren't attributed to LinkedIn Ads. So, for example, if I have a conversion event to track a form submission, and someone comes from an organic channel and fills out the form, it will still show conversion activity was detected for that conversion in the conversion tracking section, but it won't show when I look at the LinkedIn campaign data. Once the conversion action is attributed to LinkedIn Ads you'll see it in the campaign data. Does that make sense? Also, in the Conversion Tracking section, go to the "Manage Insight Tag" dropdown at the top right of the page-> Settings -> And make sure "Enable enhanced conversion tracking" is checked. Let me know if you have any questions.

@kindlymarketing2 ай бұрын
Hi There, this is a great question and one I need to look into further. I'll try to make a video about this in the future. To my understanding, if you add the 'Google Tag' to your website, that should give you the ability to build remarketing audiences and additionally configure a GA4 account with the same tag. In short, Google is making it easier to manage their products with fewer tags...one tag that can be used for Google Ads and GA4 (Google Analytics 4).
@user-zn5tn9br3b2 ай бұрын
@@kindlymarketing THX you, teacher, you said one tag that can be used for Google Ads and GA4 (Google Analytics 4), so the TAG ID will be GA4 ? ( choose one ) and the GA4 and GAds can both get the pageview data.
@kindlymarketing2 ай бұрын
@@user-zn5tn9br3b Yes, from these instructions, it looks like you set up the Google Tag for either of these two destinations (GAds or GA4) and then configure the remaining destination so it also gets data. If you previously set up GA4 in Google Tag Manager, the GA4 configuration tag should have been converted to the Google Tag back in 2023 when Google made the change. I'll try to go through the steps when I have a brand new account in the future. Hope this helps! I'd try setting the Google Tag first, then go to audience manager-> your data sources-> then look where it says google ads tag, if you start seeing hits in the last 24 hours, you should be able to create remarketing audiences. If after a day or so you see no hits, you probably need to add the remarketing tag. You can also use GTM's preview mode to see which tags fire after you set up your Google Tag, and check if you see a remarketing tag.

Hi. I've been trying to run an ad and after about 7 days and spending almost 300dollars. I didn't get a single lead. Is there something you think I should adjust? I think I set it up right and it was a document ad, but i'm still trying to figure out how to do ads like this
@kindlymarketing3 ай бұрын
Hi There, Document ads and Lead gen form ads can be a good way to capture leads, but if your offer or content doesn't resonate with your audience it can be hard to capture leads. I've done LinkedIn account audits where clients have spent thousands of dollars without a single lead. I would suggest filtering the columns on the document ad metrics so you can see how users are engaging with the ad, like how many clicks and 'preview download clicks' you are receiving. I'd also review your demographics data. Does anything look off with your audience targeting (like irrelevant job titles or job functions that you can exclude)? I'd also ensure you disable audience expansion so LinkedIn doesn't expand your audience targeting beyond what you initially set. From there you may have to continue to test and see what works. Feel free to send me a screenshot of the ad itself, the campaign settings, and the performance metrics. I'd be happy to take a closer look for free and offer more suggestions. [email protected]
