Based on the instructions you need to fill the base with sand and water. My concern is what I should do in winter? Do I need to take it down? Or it safe to let it outside?

We take ours down and store it inside the garage for the winter. thats why we just ude water so we can drain the tanks.

The bases are so huge. I opted to drill through my wood deck with lag bolts and lock washer. Great looking deck and job guys.

we had that trailer for 1 more year after this video. the only spot that started to lift was at the door. I would say do it, it can't hurt :)

We are setting ours up. It says to put sand and WATER in the base. Did you do that with the water? Seems like the water would get yucky. What about using pebbles? Any advise about the base? Thanks.

we just put sand in ours. get a fine grit that is very dry so it will pour in to the whole easier. if you don't put water in then you wont need to worry about freezing temps cracking the base from the water expanding :) thanks for watching

I have long Winter nights here. That's why I bought them. Has anybody used these through the winter? I know on the instructions it says to take them in during winter and keep them from freezing.

Just installed the bulbs into these. My dimmer remote works but they don't turn off completely for some reason. Any ideas so i don't have to climb up each time? Much appreciated!

I have mine on a wifi outlet connected to my google account. So all i do is say "Hey Google turn off my Backyard Lights" (or turn on). it works great. i am sure it would also work with alexa if you like amazon better.

@MelandTim Apparently this is known as phantom current where it draws power 24/7. My electrician is going to install a resistor which should fix the issue. Your Google way sounds much nicer! Lol

Worked like a charm! I actually didn't have a turkey baster handy so I just used a long straw (off a water bottle) and blew the sh*t out of the water intake base at the bottom of the water reservoir (while on the machine of course). Thanks!

I have the same one I’ve had since i believe 2020 if not 2021 and it just recently broke. Water come out of the carafe but not k cup side I tried all the troubleshooting

Went and checked mine. Sure enough it had something in it. The next spot to check is where that attaches to the machine. I found algae in both spots. A q-tip got most of it out of the machine where the tank feeds water in. Works great now.

OMG, I love this umbrella even more after watching your video. We have a patio which gets very hot in the summer here in Washington state. We sometimes do nighttime astronomical observing which limits what we can purchase to shade this patio. Thanks for the nice vid and thanks to your dad for helping!

Mines brand new out of the box and has a descale light on. It spit out a tiny bit of water in the coffee pot side and won't even go on the single cup

Try to descale it. Or take it back somtimes stores just tape up the box and put them right back on the shelf. Thanks for the comment :)
