Thank you for all the Gallitzin hometown videos. As a small boy, I visited Gallitzin during the summers a few times in the 1960's when my grandparents lived just south of town (off main, right before McCoy) . I've been watching the videos and matching up my memories to the town as it looks today. If possible, could you video St. Mary's church and the cemetery at St Mary's? Thank You Again!
@rebelinthenorth499117 күн бұрын
St. Mary's Church is no longer there but the cemetery is. Also the Lutheran Church was also torn down. The only churches that are still in Gallitzin are the United Methodist Church which will be closing on June 28 and St. Demetrius where St. Patrick's was.

just drive and not talk, it ruins the video

I can't help it when my mom starts talking on some of my videos. If I was driving alone this wouldn't happen.

That was the mall of my childhood through college years. I remember being there the Saturday after Thanksgiving in 1986 and seeing how busy it was. Or being there any day in August for back to school shopping. It was always slamming. Most of my memories are pre-fire because I no live near the area, but did stop by in August in 2021 and couldn't believe there was no one there. I heard Applebees is closed now too.

Applebee's is now a long Plank Road where Bob Evans was.
@rebelinthenorth499110 ай бұрын
No Applebee's is not closed. It moved onto Pleasant valley Blvd where Bob Evans was.

@@rebelinthenorth4991 Why are you trying to argue? If it's not open at the mall, then the mall location is closed.

It makes me sick to see all these people that lost their businesses and yet a lot of people voted these same idiots that shut your businesses down and put you back in office. Should be ashamed.
@rebelinthenorth499110 ай бұрын
It wasn't the politicians that shut them down, most of it was from the pandemic and online shopping.
