That gold piece that you found looks like something explained on a tv show that I watched. Look for the ancient board game possibly called Tafl. It might be a gaming piece. Viking related. I had seen gold pieces that looked just like that. Great find.

Yeah treasure committee is slow because I’m told still catching up from British museum shut down during Covid. Got a result a few weeks ago for one Bronze Age gold find and been informed second going through process at the moment. Find made April 2019 handed in following day. So yeah taking time.
