Well it would be the best if it was actually as wide as what you say. It’s 17 foot and some. Not 18’2

Tine to tine the tedder is 17' 10"... however the working width or effective tedding width is 18' 2".

These are the only American made tedders. Very well built of heavy steel. I have one it does a great job.

Esch tedders are also manufactured in Pennsylvania and are a wider 4 spider machine (18 and 22ft), hydraulic fold n tilt and arguably heavier built

I have one of these tedders. One toughest tedders i have ever used. Very well built, and American made.

Problem is it makes rows doesn't spread even I know because I ran 2 of them they are built tough but don't speed hay even
