Congrats for the fly! Did you tried the Nova Aonic too as alternative for the Symphonia 2? any thoughts?

Wow, what a flight! I have a question for you. I’m about to buy my first wing and I’m trying to decide between the Phi Viola 2 and the Symphonia 2 Light. I plan to buy one of them at the end of my training (13 days). I should have about 25 flights by then. Is the Symphonia 2 (Light) appropriate as a first glider in my case, or should I do a year or more with the Viola 2 before upgrading to the Symphonia 2 (Light) or even Tenor 2 (Light)? Thanks in advance for your advice!

Ich mag dein Mindset, das sich aus deinen Antworten rauslesen lässt. Deine Leistung als Pilot wird bei der gewählten Schirmklasse klar ersichtlich. Die Sicherheit und Entspanntheit der A-Klasse ist in gewisser Weise dein "Lohn" fürs Können. Viel Erfolg weiterhin!😊

Great flight and video! I have the same glider but not the toggles on the risers. Is this something new from Phi? Or did you put them on yourself?

You can choose between several risers, when you order the glider. R01 "Comfort" is the default. I had ordered it with the R07 "Semilight C Handle" instead. phi-air.com/project/risers/

macht bei der symphonia2 die option c-steuerung sinn? lässt sich das gut nutzen? spricht der Flügel darauf gut an?

@@freitsmiedl2985 danke für deine einschätzung, das habe ich mir etwa so gedacht, habe aber deine erfahrung an genau dem schirm wissen wollen, deine kombination von grutzeug und schirm gefällt mir gut, ich glaub das ist sehr alltagstauglich

Sehr schön geschnittendes Video - nicht zu lang, nicht zu kurz, guter Soundtrack. Fliege selbst öfters im Pinzgau und bin auch im Gasteiner Tal schon geflogen.

Nein, aber der geht bestimmt auch nicht schlecht. Flieg einfach beide und nimm den, unter dem du dich wohler fühlst.

Hello, I am thinking about buying this wing, so far I was flying 40h a year with some high-Bs like Mentor 4 or Rush 5. But with such a relatively small number of hours in the air per year I would like to switch to somewhat safer wing. Could you tell me sth about handling and performace of this wing? Did you fly on other, higher-rated wings, how does Symphonia 2 compare with them? I see your are doing some pretty long XC flights including FAI triangles, that's impressive and it seems the wing is pretty performant.

Hi, Symphonia 2 can compete in performance with older high-Bs like the Mentor 4, but it can't keep up with current ones like Chili 5, Mentor 7, Rush 6 or Maestro 2. These are definitely better in glide, especially on bar. Handling of the Symphonia is similar to B-Gliders, but with a bit longer break travel. You can buy the glider with some modifications like different break setup. The glider is then called Tenor 2.

@@freitsmiedl2985 Hi, I thought the Tenor is a different glider entirely...different aspect ratio/different size? I see you have C-handles on the Symphonia...is that optional? Can you have the R07-risers on every glider?

@@bosquo310 Technical specs like number of cells and aspect ratio are the same. And yes, you can have the R07 risers on every PHI glider. Preparation for takeoff is a bit more difficult with them. They are only helpful, if you fly accelerated. Otherwise it's better to use standard risers.

und wenn der Freitsmiedl noch eine Windwiderstands optimiertes und trotzdem gut wärmwndes Jäckchen ohne Bremsfallschirmkapuze anzieht geht es nochmals min. 20 km weiter. Und aus einem Superflug wird ein Megasuperflug

Beautiful wing. Wish it was a bit less expensive though :) It looks to be the perfect paraglider to me. I would not want/need anything better than this.

Impressive ! I'm looking for this wing... I have read your answer at Alexandre's question. I have others, if you can answer : Where are you in the weight range ? Middle, top ? How does it perform in light and very light conditions vs B and high B gliders ?

Erstmal: Gratulation zum supertollen Flug und dem interessanten Video! Ich hab keinen Trinkschlauch gesehen, alles ohne Wasserzufuhr geflogen?

Das Gurtzeug hat am Beinsack links und rechts zwei Flaschenhalter. Wenn man im Video genau hinsieht, sieht man den Abdruck. Im Sommer sind dort zwei Flaschen Leitungswasser drin, im Winter eine Thermosflasche mit Tee🙂.
